Even if Nash signs with them, they need shooters! Fields/DeRozan/Ross are all decent wings but definitely can't spread the floor for Nash.

      Or Valančiūnas.

I like how pathetic your arguments are while I think its more pathetic that a Bucks roster almost beat out a team with Carmelo, Amare, and Tyson Chandler for a playoff spot.

That might be the worst defensive team in the NBA though.

It sounds like Landry Fields' new deal would pay him $5 million in year one, $5.2 million in year two and $9.8 in year three. Poison pill.
            Yeah umm...no thanks.

            Get your passport ready Fields.

Ross spreads the floor, Derozan actually shoots well from 16-22 feet (mid range) not world beaters but don't forget Bargnani is a shooter as well.

The Knicks could still offer the same trade and just replace Fields with Shump and get Nash. But that would be insane.

Ross has a good jumpshot off a catch and shoot scenario. He's certainly better than Derozan and Fields.

Forgot Val was coming over this season. Yep, that's enough to compete with the Bucks for the 8th seed. Maybe surprise a few teams.

The Toronto Raptors Just Gave Out The Dumbest Contract Of The Offseason So They Could Screw Over The Knicks

Mark Berman said that if Phoenix is dumb enough to offer a similar deal to Fields that the S&T would still be alive and well since nothing is official since July 11th. But we know Phoenix isn't that dumb.

                    And...

Knicks could offer Shumpert, Douglas, Gadzuric, Harrellson & Jordan to Suns & get Nash to starting # of $9.9 M. 4 years, $42M trump Raps?

Much like the Asik deal, it's overpaying for certain but it's not as bad as it appears. I think what makes it awful is that Fields doesn't help Toronto one bit. He's not the player they really need even though he's a SF and they need a 3.... he might be left out of the rotation before it's all said and done.

Much different than the Asik deal, where Chicago would feel the impact, NY won't blink an eye, lol

No one has ever seen Ross and Val play at an NBA level...so that statement is a reach.

Not as long as my Kings are still in the NBA.

Oh, and the Raptors actually have a good defense. They are in the top half of the NBA. Nash and Calderon are interchangeably bad at the PG position so it doesn't make them any weaker while improving their offense.

Hahaha you got me there ehh but Casey had Bargnani actually attempting defence (wasn't a Bill Russell but wasn't exactly Amare this year Derozan got noticeably better, Valanciunas is a good defender let's see if that translates and Ross has good defensive potential.
