There's the thing, he's told Demps no such thing unless he has of late. All the way up to FA he said he would be fine in returning to NO, unless a S&T happens in the new few days he's not going to PHX as they aren't going to let him walk. "Basketball is basketball, doesn't matter what city i'm in" that quote alone tells me as long as he's getting paid he doesn't care.

Also NO isn't a terrible basketball city(like most towns, have to give them a reason to come). Have had alright attendance in the past few season and when they were good they had pretty good attendance. With some possible stars there now, wins eventually, new owner, etc they'll be fine in NO.

Alright never mind trying to bring sense into this conversation because people supported the Saints ever since they came to NO

Because they had no owner, which led to no direction at all. With Benson now in charge they will have a clear sense of direction and ideas to make the franchise successful longterm. Shinn was a complete moron.

We can S&T we just can't trade him to the team whos offer he signed. And he will have a no trade clause for 1 year.

Lets not act like Benson is some Knight in shining armor he wanted to move the Saints before Brees and Sean Payton showed up.

Gordon topic: Ok I'll give you that

NOLA: I've never met people that claimed NOLA pro sports until the Saints won. Never, and I'll say the same thing with the Panthers, and Bobcats.

Your point? So he considered moving a team cause of a catastrophic natural disaster.

I'm talking about from a business standpoint, he may have done that but he and his family know how to run a business. Something Shinn had no clue how to do and unwilling to spend any $$ to do so.

Probably the most all-around point guard, statistically and as a two-way player not named Rondo.
Well, that sounds good. Stats aside, how is his passing like? For a protected pick, this could be a very good trade.

Heard on the radio today that their line of thinking is that the Knicks won't match on Lin and that the relationship they've built in the Far East because of Yao they'll be able to strike gold with Lin on their team...from a purely non-basketball perspective of course.

He was looking at moving them to San Antonio around 2000-2001.

I was referring to rumors that started in '05 as well, but that '00 period was a different scenario. It was also just a rumor and mainly used as leverage to get the renovations to the Superdome, more $$,etc.

Let's get back on OT, I kinda like what Houston is doing idk why.

Brandon Bass staying. Celtics have reached agreement with power forward on 3-year deal, per Herald source.

                            Great news, love his game.
