I wonder how many years Kidd got since it's a multiyear deal. It's gotta be 2 right?"You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
My concern is what we're paying him and how long the contract is.
Didn't he have $9M/3yrs on the table from the Mavs?
If he takes the mini-MLE for $3M for 2 years I guess I'll be okay with it.
That was my initial reaction thoughComment

Mavs fans on other boards seem to be happy... or at the very least indifferent
Interesting.Comment

Lmao what the hell are you talking about? Don't be mad cause Charlotte left and you're stuck with the garbage *** Bobcats.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Well tbh I wasn't a fan of the deal for the Mavs unless he retired after this season.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

I'm cool with it. Good veteran backup for Lin to learn from, good locker room guy.
I agree with ex, rather have him than Felton by a little bit. Partly because I'm not sure a guy who is already known for not keeping himself in shape will react to being a backup. Kidd will embrace his role.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

The updates on Kidd were awesome. It went from Kidd deal almost finalized with Mavs to In an unforeseen circumstance Kidd signs multiyear deal with Knicks.
I wonder what the heck happened.
From a Knicks point of view Kidd will make them better."You got it man. I don't watch hockey." SidVish"I thought LeBron James was just going to be another addition to help me score."

Maybe they told him he'd be backing up Ramon Sessions or someone.
Beats me. Very strange indeed.Comment

Only Rod Serling could have written a better NBA Off-Season.
Sent from my mobile device."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
