Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)

You really think he wouldn't pull that trigger? The Heat are in a significantly better position than Boston
    I wouldn't say significantly better.

If Ray is healthy the whole series and Avery Bradley plays, the whole dynamic of that series changes.

You can't say that missing a Top 5 perimeter defender in didn't effect the Celtics.

It's not that I don't think he would, I just think if he did, that sting would be much worse than Nash leaving. I think Suns fans understand where he's at in his career. Yeah it sucks, but different scenarios.

I'm sure the teams hate each other, etc. But I also live in FL where most of the heat fans don't care a majority of the time so hard to get the real rivalry grasp.
I KNOW Boston fans will care.

That's a great point. can't speak to that aspect but as where I'm concerned and me personally, it would have a similar feel to it.

Miami Heat fans are fickle. They just care about the last game of the Finals lol. The teams don't like each other. Went to a Boston Celtics game and a Celtics fan said they hate the Heat. I don't take Miami fans interest level seriously lol

If Bosh and Wade are healthy the whole series, the dynamic could've changed just as much....you can play the "if" game all night...

Either way, I don't think Boston fans will be devastated...especially from the vibe I got off Boston radio today....I wouldn't blame Allen at all if he didn't want to come back to a situation with 3 SGs that all need minutes

Celtics and Heat is nowhere close to Lakers and Suns when you consider all of the factors.

In the Nash era, the Spurs were bigger rivals than the Lakers.

As far as Rivalry is concerned I would probably agree, But seeing that guy in that uniform would have a similar feeling is all I'm trying to get across.

Either way, I think Allen goes back to the C's and continues the epic Celtics/Heat "rivalry" lol

Dirk Nowitzki has two seasons remaining on his contract and also a no-trade clause. But with the Mavericks unable to land Deron Williams after not re-signing Tyson Chandler, the question is whether Nowitzki has enough time remaining to endure a rebuild.

"I’m not sure," Nowitzki said when asked the question in May. "I’ve always said I want to finish my career here and obviously the championship season topped it all off; that’s what I always was chasing and dreaming about so that kind of sealed that deal on that front. If we really come out with nobody this summer then maybe they want to rebuild and, obviously, I’m too old for that. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens on that front. But I still think I got two, three good years left in me and if we get some players in here we can be right back up there and compete."

If Nash were to have signed with Spurs I think that would have hurt more.
