Thanks for that brilliant insight there. You'll never know if Dirk would've won a championship if he had gone to the ****ing Bobcats either, will you?NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
A lot of Mavs fans have given up and just want to blow the whole thing up and don't want to bring on an old dude like Kidd just to bring him on.
I'm not particularly upset that we aren't going to have Jason Kidd in particular, I'm upset we aren't going to have ****ING ANYBODY. NO free agent wants to come to Dallas right now, there is no bright future to be found on that roster.
This situation is probably worse than what most people imagined the worst case scenario being.
So even though it doesn't matter now, do you think they should've kept Zeller? I think he'll be a pretty solid player."To the last minute, to the last second, to the last man, we fight"Comment

I didn't see this posted, I'm guessing it had to have been somewhere in this thread?

Lakers no longer demanding contract assurances from Dwight Howard in trade talks, reportedly
The Orlando Magic are "increasingly focused" on trading Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers for Andrew Bynum. Helping the Laker cause is the fact that the team is no longer demanding that Howard agree to a contract extension before a trade is consummated. That is according to two separate reports from today. Have no fear, the Brooklyn Nets have not given up hope and also have a standing offer on the table. Assurances aside, Dwight Howard is not likely to sign a contract extension with any team he gets traded to as the new NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) allows for a higher extension by allowing his contract to play out.Via Eric Pincus, HOOPSWORLD
Sources close to the Lakers say they are not bothered by Howard’s reluctance to commit long-term to the team. They understand that Howard stands to make significantly more money as a free agent after this season, signing a five-year deal vs. adding on just three years to his current contract. LA is confident that once in Los Angeles, and in possession of his Bird Rights, Howard would ultimately re-sign with the team."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Also reading, ironically, that Lakers concern is with the back more than anything in regards to Dwight. Just waiting to see what happens at this point

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Bulls doing nothing... nor making much in the rumor mill. I could see the off-season results in matching Asik, signing Fisher/Ronnie Price, Morris Almond, and Bobby Simmons.
Like I said, I don't want a major shake up because there's no way to get an all star here in return but changes need to be made.
Pay the buy out fee for Mitrovic.
Don't match Asik.
Say bye to Korver, Brewer, and Watson.
Gamble on some players like a Nick Young or Terrence Williams.Comment

I'm guessing that if it does go down, it'll be by sometime this weekend.
I read somewhere that the Magic want Bynum to sign an extension before they sign off.
Does that sound right or make sense to you contract guys?
When I read these various reports, I really don't understand those parts of the deals.Comment
