Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Phoenix will have a fun time losing in the opening round the next 3-4 years.
Not sure if this was posted...Knicks to send out offer to Pablo Prigioni
Claudio Villanueva on (his client) Pablo Prigioni's future: "(The Knicks) made him go through several physical exams, and they were impressed by his physical condition. He also worked out twice individually. Two days later, Pablo received a list of schools where he could take his kids. Starting tomorrow, we will wait for the offer and we will study it."
"Money always matters. At the same time, this would be the cherry on top for his career. If that means he has to leave some money on the table, maybe we'd do it. (...) If Pablo gets to play 20 minutes a game in the NBA he will average 12 assists with his eyes closed and walking backwards."
I chuckled a bit at that comment as well. I know who the Argentinian is, but talk about hyperbole lol.Comment

Whatever happened to the Josh Smith and Pau deal?
With Nash, I just thought about the addition of Smith. He can be a big help defensively. Him protecting the rim and helping on the PnR would be so valuable to back up Nash's defensive woes.Comment

Meh on Felton. Not terrible, not great.
I wonder if we can get frontcourt help with the minimum.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

With the Howard wanting to be traded to BK scenario seemingly breaking down and this Nash deal happening all things point to possibly Howard ending up here after all.
That's the only thing I can think of that made the Josh Smith stuff die down so quick, perhaps something is in the works?
I'm not so sure about Howard coming here, but everything is pointing that way right now. I'm being honest when I say that I don't lean hard one way or the other on that possible deal being done.
If it happens, cool... If not, so be it.
The main part of a deal like that happening that I'd like most honestly, would be to read the reactions here on OS lol.
It would be like the Gasol deal all over again.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Me and a one of my boys have been debating Nash to the Lakers for the past week. He's been saying it's a must get, offensive stagnation was the team's number one weakness, and Nash will put us over the top in the West. I've been arguing, it improves the squad a lot of course, but defensive play on the perimeter was the primary Achilles Heel and that stopping dribble penetration of the other top west PG's would be an bigger question mark than before.
We both thought it was just an theoretical debate, but of course, now we'll get to see who's right. Unfortunately for the Lakers, I win 90% of our basketball debates.
Attention Mike Brown, this is your defining moment right here, full off-season, full training camp, full exhibition slate, time to display your vaunted defensive coaching acumen, and develop a plan to deal with Westbrook, Paul, Parker, Lawson, et, al.Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Am I crazy for thinking that we'd be better with Josh Smith than Andrew Bynum now that LA has Nash?
Its ok if you see yes. LolComment
