So we are going to ignore the 4 first round picks they are getting and just focusing on the players?
Especially since Brooklyn is trying to trade MarShon for a high end 1st rounder, that deal is about fair. We all know that the Magic aren't keeping him, and the offers aren't going to get much better. We sure that Bynum would want to go to Orlando and rebuild there? I doubt it. He'd bolt as soon as he hit free agency, IMO.
And the Luke Walton thing is just to have salaries match up. Only 1 year left on his contract. Beats taking on Hump for 3 years.Originally posted by My Wife"The Celtics only won because they have a magical elf playing for their team...."Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
It's real easy for us FANS to say "Well, they could get a better deal than that" but we don't know what else is being offered. I mean we can say the Hawks could've done alot better than what they got for Joe Johnson or that the Suns could've done alot better than what they got for Nash other than some late 1st rd draft picks, but considering that Nash said he wanted to be close to his family, it'd be very hard to pull a move off. Samething with Duhwight.#RespectTheCultureComment

Why do you think CP3 didn't sign an extension?Comment

Miami already has LBJ, Wade, Bosh, Allen, and are still going hard for Camby/Lewis. Teams gotta be as greedy as possible to compete with that South Beach squad...Comment

First of all i'm not still ticked at Stern for the veto, good for the Clips. I don't see how CLE would be stocking draft picks. From the articles i've seen they'd be providing the picks to ORL. They need to keep their picks just in case they can't pull it together. Dwight's really made the NBA look horrible which is what i'm most perturbed about.Lakers | Michigan | DodgersComment

Bargain
The Kings have agreed to terms on a multi-year extension with Jason Thompson.
The deal is expected to average $6 million per season.
Thompson shot career-high 53.5 percent from the floor last season.

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (Updates 1st PG)
Bynum wouldn't agree because he could easily get a 5 year contract worth more money than signing an extension same goes with Dwight. He won't sign an extension with the Nets because he would want a 5 year contract worth more money than just to sign an extension worth less money.
Why do you think CP3 didn't sign an extension?
As of now, you don't have the samething between Bynum and the Magic, especially since he all of a sudden has "a list".#RespectTheCultureComment

And I suspect Bynum would stay in Orlando. I'm not even talking Bynum. Only one max superstar player has ever waived Bird rights and that was Shaq when he bolted from Orlando. You think Drew with his knee issues turns down 20 mill on that guaranteed fifth year? All beside the point. And if he leaves? At least they don't have a max contract Brook Lopez and Hedo on board.
Orlando is being hamstrung in this trade, surely Houston who has wanted to play ball in this Dwight thing can offer something more solid. Don't see how this trade is beneficial to Orlando more so than straight cap relief and a pick or two.

I ain't mad. Good backup for T-Rob in any case. It helps that he provides length in the front court as well standing at 6'11. Not bad Sac-Town. Not bad at all.Comment

You don't know if Bynum wants to sign a contract with the magic or not. What if Howard isn't happy with the nets, and Decides to test free agency. No one knows nothing.Comment
