Calling bull****. Don't know if it's real or not, doesn't really matter. Playing the victim is him trying to save face even if the Magic really don't care about him. Changes nothing.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

They don't have to give him 14 mil in a season only the Bulls have to, they can give him 8 mil a year as opposed to the 5-5-14 format the Bulls are required to.Favorite Teams:

Then that just proves my point. I'd say that puts the Bulls on the top of the troll list. At least you get the added revenue that Lin is gonna bring if you match if you're the Knicks. Makes it a little easier to swallow that deal and of course he'd be starting for the Knicks. Asik would be a backup who again, can't catch an entry pass.Comment

The poison pill contracts are really dumb, I don't understand giving the team signing a player such a big advantage, you would think you would reward the team that actually drafted the player (or that acquired them in the Knicks case with Lin) with a chance to keep their talent rather than having their cap obliterated for a year while team X can spread the cap hit over Y amount of years.Favorite Teams:

The terms of Mayo's deal were not known. The Mavs had about $4 million in cap space remaining, which is what they could pay Mayo unless the move was part of a larger sign-and-trade deal. ESPN.com
Jeff Caplan: Am told Mayo deal is multiyear, but not sure how long. Mavs had about $4M in cap space.Favorite Sports Teams

The Dwight messages were DM's I believe he was talking to an Amway employee and the guy posted them on twitter publicly..
Dwight has been relatively quiet in the media all of this time but I dont have any doubts the Magic are also throwing some mud to the media too.. they definitely aren't exempt from doing thatComment
