Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)
Huh?
I can't wait for the spin Morey puts on next year.
They have had the most confusing offseason. Every move is incomprehensible.
They need another PF? Because they Amnesty'd Scola...to make room for Dwight...who they will not get.
You have got to be kidding me.
The spin will be that they are rebuilding I am sure. It's a lot more exciting than watching a bunch of vets like Camby, Dalembert, Martin, and Scola go for the 8th seed for sure.
Most Rocket fans wanted Scola and Martin traded. It sucks to see him amnestied (because he's such a good guy, hardworking player, etc) but it is what it is I guess. Martin and Scola and the rest of the vets were doing a good job just keeping the team afloat and in the same place.
They have a ton of PFs though lol, Royce White is more of a point forward though so that's one less 4 to worry about.Comment

On the topic of Royce White I can't wait to see him play this season, I love his game and will definitely be keeping an eye on Houston to see how he develops. I really wanted the Celtics to get him but I'm happy with how our draft turned out.Favorite Teams:

Felton says he is in shape now, could play right now. Really seemed to take to heart what’s being said about him.

Marc J. Spears <s>@</s>SpearsNBAYahoo Rockets get a 2nd round pick from Charlotte that Boston owned along with JaJuan Johnson,E'Twaun Moore and Sean Williams in Courtney Lee deal
Edit: Royce is going to be an interesting player. In Summerleague he didn't look to score at all but made some passes that most PGs could not make. Pretty good rebounder but he had to be motivated to do so.Last edited by Fiasco West; 07-19-2012, 05:01 PM.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)
Boston has very good depth now with Jason Terry, Courney Lee, Jeff Green, and their starting 5 in tact. If Sully and/or Fab Melo can prove they can provide productive back court minutes off the bench as rookies then I think they are the only team in the east that has a chance against Miami next year.Last edited by b2tha2ndpwr; 07-19-2012, 06:03 PM.Comment

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)
Honestly it seems like we're just going unto full on tank mode which I'm glad we are even if it's a season or too late. Getting a 9th place seeding 3 years consecutively with really no hopes of making significant improvement wears thin. I know we were trying to drop Scola and wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Martin is basically salary dumped soon.Comment

Any Celtics fan's know what the starting lineup will be?
I assume Rondo, Lee, and Pierce will start along with KG but who will start at PF/C?
Green/KG?
Sullinger/KG?
KG/Melo?
Bass/KG?Chicago Bulls

Re: NBA Movement Central 2012 (All Transactions 1st Page)
I'm glad that the Bobcats didn't just throw too much money at a restricted free agent (Asik!) or re-sign someone like Augustin or Derrick Brown for more than they are worth. Augustin's serviceable, but not worth a $30 million dollar extension. Save that money for players that fit (And preferably unrestricted so you aren't forced to overpay). $4 million for Sessions and $3 million for Haywood aren't bad at all for veteran presence while your young players and draft picks develop.Comment

What's going on with Pietrus? I would hope the Knicks are taking a look if he'll take the minimum, which he may have to as he doesn't seem to have a large market.
P.S. I really hope Boston doesn't get Courtney Lee so if that deal would die, that would be fantastic.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
