That haul for Orlando is a complete joke. Only a few are unprotected picks, which doesn't matter because all three of the teams (barring injury) are playoff bound. Orlando is going to suck for years to come. Congrats, Magic ownership and front-office......

Um that goes for every player that have ever been drafted in any sport. Most drafts are a crap shoot. It was an indirect comparison to get a point across, still a comparison bit I digress. If Moe Harkless is higher rated than Jones and Lamb because of his potential that's cool and all but that doesn't equal any guarantee. There have been plenty of players with potential who have done just about nothing so that isn't saying much. Especially when you don't have a defined NBA skill and just for the most part athleticism and flashes. I mean hell take a look at Brandan Wright or Anthony Randolph. Potential can mean jack squat if you don't pan out. Maybe he'll pull a Tracy McGrady. (who was still leaps and bounds more skilled at this equal stage of their career, he just played with a more polished talent in Vince Carter) Maybe he won't, but as it stands he's really another project where you don't know what you're exactly getting.
Not sure what is your point.
My point is Orl got two nice prospects. Instead of "garbage"Comment

So then we might as well use that standard for every trade then, right?
And using that standard, I guess it's too early to say that the Nets won the trade with the Jazz since we have to wait to see how Favors and Kanter pan out in the next few years, right?
Or that it's still too early to say that the Wizards won the trade with the Nuggets last year when they traded JaVale McGee and got Nene back, right?
They got back 2 prospects. Whether they're "nice" or not is TBD, especially if people can't say they got back garbage, right? My point is Orl got two nice prospects. Instead of "garbage"#RespectTheCultureComment

All I know is that Nets missed the playoffs while Utah was in it.So then we might as well use that standard for every trade then, right?

Nuggets won that trade the day it got approved.
People can say what they want. Those prospects were better than not getting anything, which is what they would have got despite the fantasy trade scenarios we've been hearing all year.Comment

I'll be sure to remember that when the Nets run off the next 3 NBA Championships while the Jazz are still fighting for the 8th spot.
How so? JaVale could right back to his Washington Wizard knucklehead self(especially since he got his money)and it is possible considering who we're talking about.Nuggets won that trade the day it got approved.
All it takes is one of these to happen again and everyone will be right back to saying "Same old JaVale"

I don't think that's the argument being made unless you're singling out one person on here. Those prospects were better than not getting anything,
Now is this better than any of the other deals that were offered? That certainly is debatable.
Again, if we're going to use the "Let's Wait 5 years then judge it(which people most likely won't)"then we might as well use that for every trade that's made and every FA signing that's happened, am I right?#RespectTheCultureComment

I can't front that I just had a JaVale McGee moment because when I first seen that picture after SF asked that question, the first thing that came to mind was, "Yao Ming is back with the Rockets?" because I thought that's who they were playing first.

I haven't seen that video but LD2k does the youtube thing. He normally plays against guys in the community and puts them up.
I refuse to watch that video though -- I hate the fact that the Lakers are allowed to go through real life with the trade override on lol#WashedGamerComment

This is probably my first post in the these forums in over a year. Aside from 2K, I've pretty much been off basketball since about 4 teams really have a shot (My Rockets not being one of them, and my least favorite team, the Lakers, getting richer once again). I don't know if this has been posted, but it's HILARIOUS!

Actually should be a good game to watch as I have no clue what the new Mavs will look like on the court.
