Game 7, 4th quarter. The officiating made me not care to watch a NBA game for a while.

They already have two of the best scorers in the league, defense wins championships, all is good.

Doesn't have to be that. They can still go over to sign Harden right? I'd like to see what Ibaka got also. I'm sure they didn't max him out....I hope they didn't.

Numbers seem to be 4 yrs / 48 mil.

Don't think there's a year by year breakdown yet.

Damn with a contract that average 12 mil a year. It's hard to imagine them squeezing Harden contract in there. Clay Bennett will have to really open up the check book.

Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.

                        Yea...

Bye bye Harden is probably going to happen.

Couldn't they deal Perkins, then use that space to keep Harden?

With Big men like Javelle McGee & Dwight. Not to mention others. Having a decent big body is a necessity.

                            My guess Harden is gone.

Prob right, although I would do my best to deal Perkins and play Center by committee with journeymen and rookie contract players if it meant keeping a Durant/Westbrook/Harden/Ibaka core together.

They can still amnesty Perkins to create some cap space and they still own Harden's Bird Rights (I believe). They'll figure out away to keep those four together, while keeping bargain bin players, veterans and rookies around them. Presti is no idiot, he won't just let Harden walk for nothing....

Keeping Perkins isn't worth losing one of the best young swingmen in the NBA, who also happens to be your only offensive player off the bench. Like the poster above me mentioned, the Thunder are already loading up on centers (Thabeet, Aldrich & Orton), so they already see the big picture. I see Cole Aldrich finally getting a chance and playing solidly for Scott Brooks which will make Perkins expendable.
