As a 7 year season ticket holder I'm not positive what the magic are trying to do. I realize the Magic are 1-10 and neeeded a shot in the foot but to basically call the season a loss and name assisant coach Johnnie Davis after 11 games seems a bit nuts to me. The Lakers started off the season 3-10 last year and made the playoffs plus the Magic are in the east so I feel by some luck they could've still had a chance. Unless we plan on bringing a coach in here this year like the Grizzlies did with Hubie then I think we made a bad decision. Giving up on the season 11 games into it makes me angry and at this point I'm not even looking forward to going back to the TD Waterhouse Centre. In my opinion this mess is from GM John Gabriel. This isn't all Doc's fault. He's not the one who thought Ty Lue was a starting point guard or the one that signed Bo Outlaw to a big contract instead of singing Ben Wallace who wanted to stay here. I could go on forever at the bone head moves Gabe had made here. Also this franchise is cursed until we can get rid of this Grant Hills contract but the sad thing is thats not gonna happen anytime soon. The best move the Magic can make here is go after a coach that is defensive minded and one that Tmac approves otherwise they risk losing him after next season. Sorry about venting

Why can't they wait til the end of the year? Its still too early, and you could still work out a trade.
