I still get blown away watching old Penny games and highlights, that dude was something special.

But...yeah. No one is stopping Shaq on the 2012 team. Shaq would score 60 by himself.

That's Mitch "The Rock" Richmond before he came to D.C. and became washed up overnight. Dude was the 2nd or 3rd best SG throughout his career, but he mostly played on bum *** Sacramento teams. He did see a championship in his waning years with the Lakers and had early success with Tim Hardaway and Chris Mullin in Golden State.

Edit: Props to 23 for mentioning Mitch before my post. Dude was a beast on the perimeter, man. Hoping he can get the nod to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame soon.

Was very happy for Richmond to get a ring with my Lakers...enjoyed his year with the team.

He would def give kobe and wade issues on defense. I remember the shootouts Him and MJ would have back in the day

saw this random video of the 2003 usa team, I don't remember why they didn't just use this team. This was a stacked team.

If I recall correctly, a couple of those players decided they wanted to get married/have kids and some wanted to just take the summer off and rest. Woulda loved to see that squad in the Olympics though.

damn that sucks. That team would of won gold at the olympics imo, Just with kid alone it makes a big difference, because Marbury was horrendous

I still have the Mike Bibby Team USA jersey from that team. Lol...They sure seem much more stacked than the 2004 team. Shame that many of them didn't want to spend another summer together in Athens.

That team wouldn't have won anything.
