Dream Team would win, but the reasons some are giving are absolutely ridiculous. ex. 'They had Jordan Magic and Bird therefore they win no matter what'

Dream Team, but not by "dominating" fashion.

Truth be told those are 3 of arguably the top 5 most dominating players to ever play the game of basketball, so there could be more to that argument but not without details to back it up

and its just as ridiculous to say in what fashion they would not win in, especially when you cant give an answer for what you're going to do with their depth and inside presence

The 2012 team's athleticism would keep it close.

Agreed with that. But Michael was the only one in his prime. So really it was MJ and 2 shells of the dominating players they once were.

And why is it just commonly accepted that people have to adjust to play against big men? Why not force the big men to play your style? Granted Chuck could certainly run the floor but Ewing and Robinson? All game? Maybe Robinson but not Ewing.

And if it's ridiculous for me to say it wouldn't be dominating, then people need to not say it'd be "easy".

Collectively these guys arent smart enough to make the Dream Team have to cater to them

You guys are dismissing the minds of a boatload of HOF and all time greats for a team with one big man who would've been a skinny PF in their day

Well that's more about coaching than the players. Which the Dream Team definitely has an advantage in.

I'll just end with this, I think if it turned into a track meet, the 2012 team would have a slight edge. However if the Dream Team controlled the pace, it'd be ugly.

And I have to agree with Pack, the 2008 team is better than this team, this poll should be 2008 team vs 2012 team.

IMO the Redeem Team > this team.

Pippen guarding Durant would have been so fun to watch.

What are you talking about. Javelle Mcgee's athleticism makes him the best center in the game!

This team? No. Redeem Team? No.

Don't think it's an absolute beat down that most would make it though...

I also think feel that you could construct a team of present day players that could certainly complete very closely with the dream team....

Besides Magic, Bird, Robinson and Laettner, every other player was in their prime or entering their prime like Pippen.
Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.

Again, how can you make comparisons where you have to add players to one team to give them a chance? If we were going to add the best in the league to either team then the Dream Team would get Shaq and possibly Isaiah. The teams are what they are. Comparing them is a big "what if" already.

Might as well add Olajuwon Shaq Zeke

We have to stay with the teams already constructed

Answered the question in my first sentence bro....everything else is side bar. I've heard many times the last few days that now team consisting of players in 2012 couldn't compete with the DT, just a side point, not bringing those variables into the question at hand.
