"It takes time for the venom you were injected with to eventually bring you to your death. The Knicks getting Carmelo Anthony was like a cobra bite and now...

I about died laughing listening to the music, and reading this. I can't stop

I'll never think of Melo the same after this

Seriously, even if they did sweep Manhattan like some plague, why in the hell is it an acccomplishment to be in control of New york?

You play too much risk man

actually the song is perfect. The song isn't the real thing. it's a replica Which is exactly what the Nets will be as New York City's team. A Replica.

So I'm guessing ya'll Knick Fans must listen to this when talking about the Knicks' performances in the last 10-12 years then, right? Because the title fits ya'll perfectly since that's what it's been like since the glory days of the 90s.

Because I can tell you right now that you will not win this.

1 playoff win in 10 years. But let me guess...Blame Isaiah, right?

We could have the battle, I'd win. Nets are ringless in the NBA. Other than 6 good years. The nets have sucked. Nothing but a bunch of first round playoff losses and one semi final lose. The Knicks have a much richer history. Perfect Example actually is looking at both teams career leader in points. For the Nets you have Buck Williams(who?) who scored 10440 points with the Nets. The Knicks on the other hand have a Hall of fame player in Patrick Ewing who leads the franchise with 23665 Points, Actually the two players who follow Patrick are also hall of famers in Frazier and Reed. The fact that Kerry Kittles is in the top ten of that list is all that needs to be said about the Nets.

Dog **** vs Bull **** is basically the battle here.

Nothing but a bunch of first round playoff losses and one semi final lose. The Knicks have a much richer history.
The amount of irony in this is strong, Young Padawan.

Checkout the latest and historical year by year stats of New York Knicks along with the list of all time top 12 players and more on Basketball-Reference.com

Perfect Example actually is looking at both teams career leader in points.
Right because scoring more points automatically means you had a better career.

The Knicks on the other hand have a Hall of fame player in Patrick Ewing who leads the franchise with 23665 Points
So Jason Kidd, Julius Erving and Drazen Petrovic aren't HOFers now? BTW, Kidd will go down as arguably a Top 5 PG all time. What's Ewing known for again? Where's my man AlexBrady when you need him.

This is what cracks me up about Knick Fans(Pared, bigeast, CMH, ehh I have no issue with because they at least keep it real about them). I can at least acknowledge my team(since I been a fan which is going on 15 years now)hasn't had any success as far as Championships go. Yet Knick Fans walk around like their team are the ****ing 90s Dallas Cowboys and then when you ask them why they haven't won since Gas was under $1, they're quick to pull out the MJ card(despite the fact he's been gone for 14 years and I'm not talking about the Wizards version)or they blame Isaiah. And eventually that'll go from blame Isaiah to blame Lebron, if hasn't already happened.

I could give a damn less about the Nets or Knicks, but lol at trying to talk down to other teams or their fans. Some of you never fail to provide some laughter. I mean, sure the Knicks have done better than the Nets, but if you're really going to try to talk down to them... well... that's quite funny. Points leaders? Cool deal.

As a neutral observer, who knows a bit about crappy teams, the Nets are the worse team of the two but there is no question who has been the better team over the last decade or so, and that has been the Nets. For the longest the Knicks hadn't won a playoff game and they haven't won a playoff series since the 99-00 season. That being said I don't think there will be New York take over by the Nets just yet.

Julius? Really? We're talking ABA basketball now? Come on man...

I'll give you Kidd and Drazen, but raise you Ewing, Monroe, Reed, Bill Bradley, DeBusschere, Frazier. Not to mention we have Holtzman who's one of the greatest coaches of all time who help mentor arguably the greatest coach of all time in Phil Jackson. No one is going to Blame Lebron or Isiah. We had chances in the 90s to win but I'd take a chance at winning any day then constantly visiting the lottery.

You can never see the point. The point is not talking down their fans, but to think that the Nets are going to "takeover" NY? It's a funny thought. Points don't matter it's the historical content between the two teams. It's the reason why the Clippers will never take over LA, the reason the Mets will never takeover NY. There's too much historical content when comparing the two. The Clips could win the championship in LA and it'll still be a Laker city. Because of the memories, the prestige. The quite funny thing is hearing it from the otherside.
