    Lakers vs Spurs part III

The game is on tonight at 8:30 ET. That's 5:30 PST for those of us on the west coast. It's going to be at the SBC Center in San Antonio. What are your guys thoughts on this game?

The Spurs have already lost 2 to the Lakers. One went to double OT without Parker and Duncan, where Manu was on fire. That game was at the SBC Center also. The next game, the Lakers torched the Spurs at Staples Center. Karl got a triple dip and all the Lakers starters got rest in the second half.

Tonight, I think it'll probably be a close game also. I think the Lakers will win tho, but it will be close.

    Your guy's thoughts?

Will this be on national TV or KCAL, ShaKobe? I hope national TV, because I cant stand the Laker announcers.

Anyways, theyre playing 3 times already in the first month or so of the season? Jeez, whatever happened to spreading out the marquee matchups?

It should be a close game, but I still think the Lakers can pull it off. Whats with all the matchups so early this year?

It's only on KCAL, NBATV, and probably some local channel in San Antonio. It's not on national TV, unless you count NBA TV national.

Ya, the scheduling this year is really weird. I don't like it at all. They should have spread the team mathups out more evenly, instead of all bunched up. Oh well. I'll take what they give us.

Yea, I agree with the scheduling thing. I might think differently if the game was later on during the season, but really, neither the Spurs nor Tim Duncan have really impressed me this season. i mean, with all the retirements and trades and all, I knew it wouldn't be the same as last year, but I did expect better than this. As much as I don't like the Lakers, the only team that I see at the moment that can really even stand a chance to beat them in a 7-game series is the current Kings + C-Webb. However, it is still the regular season, so maybe the Spurs can pull something out. I won't sleep on the Spurs, but it's really hard not to face the fact that if they don't turn their game up a notch then they're going to have some trouble...

This sucks, beacuse it's not on National TV. And I agree with Matrix, playing a team 3 times early in the season ain't good. Especially two teams like the Lakers and Spurs. They should have been spread out.
