      60% in his left ear, I believe. And Steve Fancis has had to deal with his ear disorder in the past as well.

                  I know somebody who is 60% deaf in his left hear, yet it doesn't seem to be a problem for him at all. Maybe it effects different people differently.

                                                      Being deaf in one ear probably helps his speech more than hurts it. Singers often cover one ear in order to find the right pitch.
