      Re: GARNETT.... FOR THE WIN...

You know, it definitely does count for something, but this year, guys seem to be really off from what they should be doing.

Like TMac, he was scoring at 32.1 ppg last year. This year, he is at 24.8 ppg. That's a huge drop. His fg% is down and his TO's are up. His team is an abysmal 1-19. I think he is a great player, but he isn't making everyone else around him better. So, he's out of my top 5 right now.

JKidd is still playing at his normally high level and making everyone around him better. He is definitely the best pg out there still.

I didn't say that KG is the best big man out there, but he is one of the best 3, with TD and Shaq.

And as for Shaq carrying the Lakers, they seemed to do fine when he was out of the lineup. Hell, they were fine when Kobe was out of the lineup for that first game. They even won without Karl, but just barely. They are all rockin it for the Lakers right now, but I think Karl's hustle and determination is what is making him stand out to me as opposed to Shaq's ways. He is still intimadating, don't get me wrong, but Karl is keeping the fire under him to be that intimidating.

And as for KG, he's in my top 5.

      KG
      Kidd
      Kobe
      Shaq
      TD

But as I've said before, the MVP award will go to the best player on the team with the best record.
