    2012-2013 NBA GM survey results

Looks like the GM's like Miami as the overwhelming favorites to win the championship this year at 70%. Sorry Laker fans.

Thanks!!! Nice post... I love seeing this every year.

edit: I love how who is the best power forward in the league has LeBron James at number 3 (with Kevin Love and Dirk over him) lol

1.) Spoelstra got three superstars and a group of role players to play together. He also successfully adjusted when guys got hurt and employed some unconventional lineups.

2.) General managers couldn't find for their own team and personnel.

Some surprising(although nothing major) responses in there to say the least.

Pat Riley is the Don, he can do whatever he pleases and you will obey.

            /sarcasm

But I guess being totally inept at in-game adjustments and late game play calling, must make you a good coach.

No wait, having arguably two of the top five players on the planet does that.

At least the GMs know what they're talking about in the PF discussion. Dirk is second.

Yeah, I thought I was the only person on this entire site who felt that way.. When he was playing at his best before his NJ days he was right up there was Chris Paul.. People seem to forget he was actually considered top PG in the league even back when CP3 almost snatched the MVP award..

I really hope he bounces back this season with the new guys there in Brooklyn

CP3 and Deron are competing for number 2, IMO

Not to turn this into a PG debate*, but on what basis?

*[even though that is precisely what I am doing]

CP3 is far more efficient with the ball the than Rondo [Passing {Pure Point RTG} and Shooting], has a higher B-ball IQ, and embodies an ideal leader* better.

*[abstract concept, but I don't see how one could argue this in favor of Rondo. CP3 is one the best leaders in the league, period].

Defense and rebounding* can be argued in either's favor;however, I would side with Rondo's overall defense due to his ridiculous wing span.

*[CP3 averages .1 more career rebounds which is a negligible difference]

CP3 is certainly more Clutch as well. Rondo played exceptionally well in clutch situations sometimes, but CP3 does it consistently and was among the league's best at it.
