I got CP3. I like what Rondo does but you can't be called the best if I can't depend on you to make a jump-shot or free throws when it matters. Backing 5 ft away should never be a viable defense against any elite player. Let alone a PG. CP3, D-Will then Rondo.

Because Rondo is a typical point guard with extras and he is the damn best at it. Though Deron Williams and Kyrie Irving are right there behind him. I have nothing against Chris Paul, but I just don't like his style of basketball.

i think it is sort of irrelevant its about what you your point to be able to do. i would want a point guard like rondo doesnt have to score to have an impact and you guys forget when the big 3 was together he didnt really have to score unlike paul where he has to do that but not so much now.

I got to go with D-will for the best point in the game at the moment.

To anybody saying you have to score to control games, please watch Rondo! He was Drawing triple teams tonight still was finding teammates. 20 Assists? 33 Straight 10+? Thats Value loll

Lol he was not being triple teamed. Somebody just saw the highlights and not the game. There was one play where Rondo was in the corner and the Raptors tried to trap him there but like the Raptors would it was a very soft trap and left and easy pass through the middle of it.

That one play was not an indication of what was going on throughout the game. In the game the Raptors were playing their normal soft defense. They also played of Rondo like you should but the problem was they was playing soft on everybody else and making his passing lanes easy.

No knock on Rondo he made the plays and they won the game. But no he was not being triple teamed or even doubled teamed for that matter last night. Even the few times Toronto tried to trap off the pick and roll it was soft as tissue. It was easy for him to pick them apart last night.

I Watch the Celtics play regularly, and tonights game was nothing unusual. You are right, Raptors were Trapping off picks, and he was able to pick them apart. But I Disagree Thats how you should play Rondo. Doesn't matter who he's Playing, A Trap is prettymuch a Double team because in that Split Second you are leaving your man and He will Pick up the assist. I think some of the best defenses I've seen used on him have been when you make him score and he's still shooting above 50%. All I was really trying to say is that he controls the game and is definitely gonna have another MVP type season. And that play was sick too loll

If Rose deserves an MVP award I see no reason why Rondo can't be in the running for one.
