Nick Van Exel & Eddie Jones (Jerry West was genius drafting him 10th) were some of my favorite Lakers.

The thing with me is, players come and go and what I root for mainly is that name on the Front of the jersey (I know that sounds horribly cliché).

My love for the Lakeshow is forever and it doesn't really matter who the player is, but that's just me.

I respect your position, don't understand it at all, but I can respect it.

I could explain man but on if it even matters lol...and it wasn't about those two only or I guess I wouldn't watch basketball anymore huh?

I've been watching basketball longer than some here have been alive but what I like it only bothers some because they only comment to me when I comment on the Lakers. As much that happens here in la there always seems to be something to say regardless. I evev liked the clipps when they sucked long ago but most bandwagon fans can't tell you anything about anybody else besides we have 16 rings so coversations are nill

Notice you haven't seen many here on the forums while your team has been losing? , if they win a few games watch the increasein basketball all of a sudden peak more people lol


I like watching a myriad of teams I'm not a one team fan anymore. I like the game more than any team and some teams I wouldnt mind seeing them win a ring or 2 or whatever

Thats me. ..what I don't care for is people having an opinion or team preference then acting like I have an agenda because I don't think like them or simply have a different perspective.

Not that I give a cats behind but it is hypocrisy if it's said it not

Most of you guys have been able to hold a decently unbiased conversation about Laker related topics, IMO. Not all but most. Like I said, I can respect you for having a feeling/opinion on something, stating so in plain terms, but also having the ability to hold a decent convo on it. It honestly doesn't even matter if you respect these guys or not, at least you can hold a convo. Kudos.

There has always been the talk about Phil only coming to loaded teams, which I never cared for but this go round I said he's an opportunist, and I can't root for this them, and whatever else you wanna call it


He just HAD to respond with something more personal as usual. It never fails.

I've seen you do this before with others too then claim innocence, so now I know I shouldn't expect anything else out of you but this for my observations

Still doesnt change my post that Im starting to believe Phil is an opportunist and thats not something i'd want to root for regardless of how you feel.
