They aren't built anything like the early 2000's Pistons, who had Chauncey Billups and Ben Wallace as their two best players (neither was a top 30 player, IMO).

Outside of the non-rebounding from Dwight, he simply was ignored on the offensive end of the floor. That is unacceptable and falls on Kobe and the coach.
More on Kobe than D'Antoni cant tell you how many times I was screaming at the screen no don't shoot. Then he started make the shots and I was thinking damn now he think he gone shoot them back in this himself again... smh

Please Lord give them Nash back hopefully he'll be able to keep the ball out of Kobe selfish hands..

Have fun with this guy, Lakers fans. Already seeing some of the crap that I didn't like about D'Antoni.

When asked whether Gasol is being aggressive enough when he catches the ball on the perimeter, D'Antoni shrugged and said, "I don't know. You have to talk to him. He is what he is. Pau will make some shots. Pau will be fine."

The infamous D'Antoni go-to. Never knows what's going on. Things will be fine so stop asking.

Get used to it because if Gasol is already unhappy about how he's being used in the system, it's only going to get worse.

D'Antoni simply doesn't know how to utilize post players. He's trying to make Gasol into a pure jump shooter. Ah, man. I just can't wait to see the Lakers fans that start hating on Gasol for his poor performances instead of seeing how he's being used.

The Lakers are gonna owe a lot of money to coaches in the next couple seasons.

I read that Pau is upset because he's getting wind that he may be traded. Doesn't this happen every single year with him?

But yeah. That "I don't know what's wrong with them" speech has started quite early from Pringles.

Dwight can't be happy with a guy like MWP consistently getting more shots than him in that offense. I think Pringles is just buying time for Nash to get back.

Sheed, Billups, and Hamilton in their primes were pretty damn good. I think the Grizzs are more talented but I more or less mean how they lean on all their starting 5 consistently. With Tony Allen playing the Ben Wallace role.

Pau has been a jumpshooter for 2 years now. He has some games where he's aggressive again but that doesn't last long.

Oh, I know he can hit jump shots, but that's why I said pure jump shooter. He's taking away his post game.

We will see, I guess. I'm trying to be civil about it and patient. Just reading D'Antoni's comment irked me because it's ridiculous to me to hear a coach say that, and he always does it.

Isn't this D'Antoni's thing? He's always waiting for someone.

                        "We're waiting on Baron Davis."

                        Now he's waiting on Nash.

Since he's on the bench he's 1-2 I think but he was training the team before that. I don't know how many losses he has in front of him before they throw him away. The last 2 games sure didn't look good.
