The Spurs are built to beat the Heat's defense

Unfortunately, the Spurs are are built defensively to be destroyed by the Heat.

Something's gotta give, should be a good game.

It doesn't matter because Del Negro doesn't have a clue. He wins on the talent of his teams not because of his coaching. He can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

Here's a quote from him from the LA Daily news describing his offense.

So what do the Clippers call their offense? Does it have a name? "Yeah, Chris Paul, Del Negro said. All these names and all that stuff - you just put the ball in the best player's hands. I'm sure the ball is going to be in LeBron's hands. You just try to get the guys to buy into what you're trying to do."
The man doesn't have a clue.

Oh I was just asking since I'm of the mindset in that if you're going to fire someone, then you better get someone who you(Front Office)know will do a better job than the current Coach, especially on a team that's already a playoff contender and where you're best player is in a contract year and could easily just leave.

I haven't watched that many Clippers game so I have no clue what he's done and/or hasn't done in games.

He wins on the talent of his teams not because of his coaching. He can't coach his way out of a paper bag.
You could literally say this about probably 25 out of 30 Head Coaches in the league though, especially in a sport where if you have the talent then 9 times out of 10, you'll win.

He should be fired off this quote alone. But I think CP3 will stay, No other real contender for him to go to unless him & Dwight are planning a Lebron & Bosh move loll

That may be true during the regular season but in the playoffs the Clippers will be at a disadvantage in coaching strategy/adjustments because of Del Negro against any opponent.

It's a shame that the Clippers have a good team that will be wasted as long as that bum is head coach.

I like the signing. Collison has struggled since those first few games of the season and the combo of Dominique Jones and Roddy Beaubois as the backup point guard hasn't exactly been a great combo.

In the end of the day though, the Mavs without Dirk need either Mayo or Kaman to score 18-20+ on a nightly basis to compete and that hasn't happened a lot lately.

does anyone else think that both the clipers and the lakers dropped the ball with their coaching moves or lack thereof..

i mean isnt the clippers roster tailered made to run d'antoni's system. maybe its the clippers that shoulda fired their coach 5 games in. or maybe d'antoni should have just waited vinny out.

Pack show me a list of guys and I could probably pick 5 without even thinking that are much better.

He has gimped Blake Griffin. What he's doing now is the equivalent of making Rondo high post up, and take 18 footers from the side all game.

He absolutely makes zero adjusments, and when his offense turns to crap, he turns colors and has this look on his face like a woman just owned him in front of all of his boys, he sits down, talks to Robert Pack for a sec, then makes no adjustments.

The team looks, sorta like stagnant. With the talent they have they should not be forcing Chris Paul to have to play hero, or isoing Jamal Crawford for 3's all game.

All he had to say last night was even when we were 8-2 I told you guys we had alot of work to do... Its hard to even listen to him talk now because I know he's clueless. He only stayed last year because the team decided to go on a small win streak right when he was about to get canned... and Thankfully he's back at square one if im not mistaken, in a contract year.

This guy is not the one to get the most out of this talent.. its too many guys for them to look like they don't know how to run a real offense. Did you see the NOH game? It was pathetic

I never said that I had a list. I just know it's always easy for us as fans to do the Armchair GM/Coaching thing, that's why I asked who would you replace him with.
