Re: 11/26 - 12/2 Game Discussion Thread
When Bean yells, it's serious business
He was in an angry mood at Thursday’s practice, calling out his teammates for not being tough enough in games, The Times has learned.
It wasn’t a long rant, maybe half a minute, but he left practice in a hurry, stalking off the court toward the end of it, irritated that the first team had lost to the reserves several times. He knocked some items off a table at midcourt on his way to the locker room and did not talk to reporters who were let in after his outburst.
Bryant’s message wasn’t light. It contained expletives and hammered at the same theme. The Lakers should not be playing this poorly. Everyone needed to be stronger emotionally and physically.

He demands a lot from his teammates and is insanely competitive.
I understand how he reached that position on this team (it doesn't really need explanation). It might not fly if it was someone else, but as long as the team is the Lakers, and the player going on the half a minute rant is Kobe it's gonna fly.
That's whether us as fans like it or not.Comment

Seriously, how the hell did Kobe reach the status where he could be such a bitch and nobody calls him on it? Where he can 'get mad and lay down the law' on the team and call the guys out and it's reported like the triumphant leader Kobe getting his guys ready and all this other crap and he's one of the main reasons why they've played the way they have.
Plus it's frustrating when you are willing to do so much and sacrifice so much for the game and the people around you are just like "...ehhh...just another game."Comment

You didn't see his mad competitiveness when he went on every radio station in LA he could calling out the gm, calling out the owner, and calling out now traded Bynum on a cell phone?
They better listen or get traded or thrown under the bus
Lol

Well he really doesnt. My point is why is the notion that you have yell at and berate the people that follow u in order to "set them straight" such a accepted practice?Comment
