Talent wise, Cousins indeed. He is pretty beastly whenever his head is focused on the game and just the game. It's annoying to see him get T'd up.

Re: Cousins or Monroe
Love watching Cousins and everything that has been said about him is true, if he could calm his emotions and focus that energy into his physicality on the court he could really beast down low.
But instead he feels entitled to calls and it especially doesn't help when he is constantly mouthing off to the refs. Not a good way to get calls ask Allen Iverson."Most people would learn from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them"Comment

Re: Cousins or Monroe
Headcases can sometimes be the right personality u need to for a team.
Now in Cousins case hes the dominant personality on a young team. Either a strong coach or a more dominant superstar can buffer cats like him.
Dennis Rodman, Vernon Maxwell, Metta World War, and Rasheed Wallace were integral to their teams chips.
Xavier McDaniels, John Starks, Steve Jackson, and Kenyon Martin did pretty well. Andrew Bynum shouldnt be leading the lockeroom.
By the way, Andrew Bynum is a headcase too.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: Cousins or Monroe
If Demarcus Cousins (or as I call him Run DMC) could learn to be less lazy and be more mature, I would pick him. But Monroe at the moment is a safe pick at the moment. You know that he can evolve to a 20 - 10 guy for your team.Comment

Re: Cousins or Monroe
Cousins just got suspended indefinitely after the loss to the Clippers last night. Counting the 3 games he got suspended for striking OJ Mayo and taunting commentator Sean Elliot, this is sad to see. What the hell is wrong with this guy? Besides the fact that we all know he is still immature. I think I want to take back my vote and choose Monroe instead now.Comment

Re: Cousins or Monroe
Just when it looks like Cousins is really turning a corner on the floor, he does this craziness off it...and kinda on it with the Mayo thing.
It's hard for me to go against a guy that practically comes right out of my backyard to the NBA. But I have to think Cousins gets his act right eventually. Maybe after a change of scenery. Like...coming closer to home. I mean, he is from Mobile after all.Comment

Re: Cousins or Monroe
Call me crazy, but I think the Celtics should kick the tires. The Kings have to be sick of him. The C's need a big. And between Doc, KG and Pierce, he couldn't ask for a more mature group of veterans around him. Plus a chance to win.
I'd love to see this former UK Cat in Boston, sensing the price could be right.Comment

Re: Cousins or Monroe
I feel that under the right coach to guide him, Cousins can become something special. Cousins could be a cornerstone in the future if he got his act together and that's only gonna happen under an experienced veteran coach. A guy like Doc Rivers would be good for him.
