Right now, IMO, the Lakers defense is "panic button" bad....I just don't see how Nash and Gasol returning can fix that side of the ball...

I got a bad feeling about this Lakers team. I haven't seen consistentcy from anyone but Kobe and Howard. It seems like its going to take more time for the Lakers that everyone are expecting to gel together and get on a roll. I really hope this doesn't happen the whole season.

Comparing this team to the 2010-11 Miami Heat when they first got together tells me that the Lakers are not as good as that team. I remember Miami struggled like them, but things starting flowing and they played good defense. I'm not seeing good defensive plays out of LA collectively. They looked horrible in transition defense also against the Thunder last night. Smh then on top of that D'Antoni isn't a defensive minded coach at all. Come on anyone seeing what I'm seeing here? This could be a 6th or 7th seed team come playoff time. There's nothing wrong with that, but Lakers are not playing as everyone is expecting right now.
