        This is a hell of a milestone to hit. Kobe deserves some love for getting there. One thing that really stands out though when looking at the guys in this club is just how dominate of scorers MJ and Wilt where. They are the only two of these guys to do it in less than 1,000 games. Kareem, Malone, and Kobe all took over 1,100 games to get there. That is a pretty big gap.

        Also if MJ would have never retired the first time odds are very strong and damn near certain that he would have been the youngest and fastest to hit the 30,000 point mark.

          Not only this, but imagine if Wilt never changed his game. He probably would've finished with over 40k points.

            Idk man, Wilt did change his game but the guy also got old, when he was no longer the biggest, fastest, strongest, most athletic big in the league his production dropped..

            Think Vince Carter in the way that once he was no longer the most athletic player around his also dropped.
