I cant place my money on Love leading his team to the Playoff getting rebounds and shooting threes. I havent seen that "style" win historically, but the jury is out. With the decline in Post play he might coulda, but i would think that the "BEST" PF in the game would get his team to the playoffs.

Once again....Dirk silenced his critics when he learned to go inside. Just to give balance to his outside game.

Ok, well when Kevin Love is healthy and the Timberwolves trade for Jason Kidd, Jason Terry, Shawn Marion, and Tyson Chandler so he can have somebody to play with we'll see how he does in the playoffs.

What other of the top PF's are doing well in the playoffs?

The two season before this year(while healthy) Love averaged 26/13 and 20/15 while making 2threes per game and 1three per game.. So that 20 points from last year and 17 from the year before had to come from somewhere other than the 3point line?

He'll be fine.. Everyone said he wouldn't be able to rebound that well once the Wolves had a center who could get boards. Yet this year he still gets 14 a game even though Pekovic averages over 8 per, and Kirilenko averages 7 at SF.

Dirk also went to the Finals with a younger Terry, Josh Howard, and Jerry Stackhouse.

Aldridge, Randolph, and Josh Smith, have led their teams to the Playoffs.

Yes... Love will be fine but hes not NOT top 3.

I guess those guys weren't on much better teams than Love?

I probably have Aldridge and Zebo as the other two in my top 3.. With that said neither of them have provided as much for their teams over the past 3ish years as Love has.

Josh Smith did not lead those Hawks teams. But is the only one of all these guys who's good on defense

Aldridge is just now playing like a top 3 PF while being the best player on his team. Years past it was Roy

Zebo in my opinion isn't the best player on that very talented Grizz team.. He had a phenomenal playoffs two seasons ago but last year wasn't able to do much against Griffin in the first round.

Love actually had 31 points, 31 rebounds, and 5 assists.

He also has a career best of 51 points.

Are we done with the throwing out stats at random yet?

Top 3 PF's today, you ask? Well:

                    1. Tim Duncan
                    2. Blake Griffin
                    3. Kevin Love

If I had a top 5, Dirk would be there along with KG, although he has been playing center recently.

The Best Of any position should be in the Playoffs.

There's nothing you can do about it if you're surrounding cast isn't up to the job.

Deron Williams hasn't made the playoffs for the past 2 years in a row.

LaMarcus didn't make it last year.

Deron's a top 3 PG in the league and LaMarcus is a top 3 PF. Why didn't they make the playoffs?

Rondo, Paul and Rose have eclipsed Deron.

Was Kobe no longer a top 3 SG when Shaq left? Or Wade when Shaq left?

It's just really hard to say a guy who finished 4th in points and 2nd in rebounds in the entire league last season isn't a top 3 power forward in the league. (1st for PFs in both)

Even playing hurt this season he's 2nd in rebounding and top 20 in scoring.. 3rd among power forwards.

In '10-'11 he was 5th in scoring among PFs and led the entire league in rebounding.
