Honestly, I don't know man. When he plays, he plays good. But the guy is never on the floor.

So I missed tonight's game, but it looks like the Mav's were on fire from 3. Games like this worry me, it's almost like when a football team dominates a game on a lot of big plays. Sure it looks impressive but it's not something than you can rely on.

Were the Mav's actually working the ball to get good looks in the half court or were people just hot and hitting contested shots?

Either way, a win is a win. I agree with you that it looks like it may be a bit too late to make a push for the playoffs. They may could sneak into an 8 seed if they go on a tear after the all star break. But they wouldn't get out of the first round with an 8 seed.

I think they are a few more loosing streaks from going full on "Team Tank" mode, where suddenly all the veterans are taking turns being injured.

Sports radio in the area keeps pushing two major ideas. Trading pieces to get Cousins from Sacramento, you know he wouldn't get away with his current personality under Carlisle, but I dn't see it working because Rick wouldn't baby him, he would just sit his *** if he was still acting childish.

The other big name being tossed around is Rudy Gay in the offseason after he likely gets cut for financial purposes. I wonder how he and Mayo get along.

Yeah, this wasn't like early in the season where there were a lot of mediocre shots being taken, particularly by Mayo, that were just going in, the Mavs were getting ppen looks, pushing the ball effectively in the fast break and moving the ball really well. They also played pretty damn good defense on the second best scoring team in the league.

And I agree, I think we might be able to make a late push for the 8th seed because I think some of those teams up there, particularly Portland, are going to fall off as the season wears on.

Isaiah Thomas looked pretty good last night offensively despite the Kings getting blown out.

Finally a rare contribution from Chalmers I would of loved for him to hit 3 more threes for obvious reasons.

Also wish Chalmers could play this way against the good teams and not the weak teams we would probably beat anyways

Meh no Crash and possibly no Deron for the Nets and PG is questionable for the Pacers. First to 60 wins.

The Bucks' bench is outscoring the Raptors' bench 43-7.

Larry Sanders is a force inside defensively. Just my observations watching the last few minutes of this game since I saw it was close when I checked the scores.

Well the Bucks ended that pretty quickly. I swear the Raptors NEVER win close games. Raptors announcer said the Raptors have lost 23 straight when giving up 100 points or more.

This Nets team is finally watchable once again.

Ya, I'm watching that game in between Pats/Texans commercial breaks...my problem though is just the NBA in general, if you aren't watching the elite teams there can be some really ugly basketball. We just went 6 possessions without a good shot by either team...air balls, bricks, guys falling away early in the shot clock with a lot of standing around.

Same here..man the Playoffs have been great so far..

I'd say first to 80 is going to win this game, both teams are too defensive to get much higher than that.
