You know Pierce tries hard when the chips are down

Rondo though should be mad at Rondo for letting his team down again

I'd wager to say very few.

When it comes to Laker fans, you have to understand that these are the most irrationally prideful people in sports. When the Clips introduced themselves as semi-relevant last year, Laker fans were tripping over themselves to make sure Clipper fans knew that the Lakers have won X amount of titles while the Clippers haven't one. Laker fans made sure to beat their chest long and hard about their illustrious history and the banners hanging from the rafters and how it "isn't a rivalry".

The average Laker fan would seriously rather die than to switch to cheer for the "little brother" in town

Timing is a little suspect as well.

You mean legit Laker fans. Cause we all know it's only a matter of time before the switch happens. Dudes were talking all that about the Clippers when it was still fashionable to joke about the Clippers. Now they are legit contenders while the Lakers are in chaos. It won't be long.

Timing? The NBA would much rather have Rondo playing in a marquee matchup.

No man. I am not talking legit or not legit Laker fans. I'm talking the majority of all Laker fans, and the average Laker fan. Doesn't matter what type they are, they are fanatical about the Lakers.

Go up to the average Laker fan and mention anything Clipper related, and he'll will give you a verbal assault about how Lakers are 16 time champion and how the Clippers haven't done anything.

Laker fans are a different breed, it would almost be like a Laker fan switching to root for Miami and LeBron just because they won the title.

Laker fan's most hated in no order:

              -LeBron
-Clippers [when they get any bit of recognition]
              -Celtics

There's no way in hell that more than a few Laker fans turn into Clipper fans. It aint happening.

                I don't believe this. Sorry.

You and the other Californians would know more than me. But it's something I'm not buying.

LA fans seem like a bunch of followers to me.

                No offense.

No offense taken. You're right, I would know better than you, haha. I'm telling you, they're irrational about the Lakers. Right now, they'll admit the Lakers suck. They won't put too much blame on Kobe, they'll tell you more that Pau is soft and Howard has no post game. They'll tell you how much of an idiot D'Antoni is [just like they said about Mike Brown].

Mention the Clippers and they'll be quick to remind you that the Clippers haven't done anything, ever. They'll be quick to tell you how many championships the Lakers have. The last thing they would do would be to change loyalties. You have no idea how ridiculous a notion that is. A Laker fan would actually fight you if you were to suggest that to them, sadly.

The main characteristic known about Laker fans is that they're blindly loyal.

                      I know.

Just odd for a game that was played 2/3 days ago. That's all.

Does that sound tottally wrong to you though? Well except the part about Brown. It's plain wrong. He isn't a championship coach but he ain't an idiot either.

I agree, D'Antoni and Brown are both not cut out to be head coaches. At least exceptional head coaches.

My point was, most Laker fans will find anyone to blame for their failures [Dwight, Pau, coaches, Jim Buss, Mitch Kupcheck]. Anyone not named Kobe.

I think they're right, Lakers management is responsible for a lot of crap that happens to this team right now. I've voiced my opinion enough on the subject so I'll leave it at that.

I can't stand this officiating crew for the Celtics/Knicks game.

As soon as I saw them, I just shook my head.

Going to be ugly/controversial guaranteed. They always get way too involved in the game.

Pierce with a weak technical foul. Him and Melo 2 early personal fouls in the 1st quarter.

                              Ugh.

Initially I was hesitant to say this, but it has become increasingly obvious that Violet Palmer needs to go. Refereeing is ultimately a judgment call and her idea of what is beyond the boundaries of mere contact is too soft of an opinion to be in accordance with how every other officiates.
