Some BS calls against the Celtics in this game I find.

I can see one hell of a playoff serie between theses two. Hope it happens.
Because Bradley hadn't been playing all year.

Melo is bonkers and I hate that he lets this stuff cloud his game judgment but dare I say that I love it...a little bit?

A little fire under his belly. Someone actually stepping up to the Celtics and their trash game? Pierce buried them again but I'm looking forward to part 2.

Totally agree. Celtic's have been bullying us for a while now. The rematch in 2 weeks is gonna be banana's

It sounds dumb and I'm not trying to compare the Pistons and Bulls to this Celtics Knicks rivalry, but I think Melo just had enough of the Celtics being the bigger bullies that win all the time.

It seems to me that Melo took it personally when the Knicks were swept two years ago. And now he's ready to let the Celtics know that the Knicks aren't the same team.

Of course, you gotta win the games first, but whatever. I don't care if he gets suspended. The Knicks are gonna have a high seed. Let these teams know you're business and take care of it in the playoffs.

The Celtics play great defense when they're pissed because they need something to light a fire under them. KG started really elevating on his rebounds late in the game, and Vni, I think it was you who noted Bass's great post defense; that was merely because of the prior play where he grazed against Amare and was whistled for a phantom foul that lead to the entire Celtics team flipping out. When they have energy, they play great basketball. There are two types of fans here in Boston: those who think we are done unless we trade for a serious big man, and those who think we will turn it on when the playoffs come around.

I fall in between, but as long as we continue to show energy on the defensive end I can't be worried at all.

Also, am I the only one who honestly believes Jameer Nelson is a serious threat in crunch time, and has been for quite some time?

                Re: 1/7 - 1/13 Games Discussion Thread.

I think its ironic that Melo was walking up on somebody in the same arena that he slapped a guy and ran 80-90 feet backwards immediately afterwards

                2 words.... Violet Palmer

She stood there and let all of the shoving and elbowing and pushing and hitting go on and didn't even wink. The other ref had to come over and call a tech.

This is my problem again .... either let them do their thing or keep calling the ticky tack stuff, but pick one or the other.. too much inconsistency.

In any other game almost that stuff would've been called long before then. I saw Blake Griffin get called for some early fouls when they were being held and their hands were up

The reffing in this league is disgusting

Iman Shumpert has been cleared by doctors for full contact.

Shumpert suffered a torn ACL in Game 1 of the 2012 NBA Playoffs.

Shumpert will likely participate in the Knicks' practices on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Didn't Jameer just become the all-time leader in assists for Orlando?

He was also having a terrible game. I guess that hasn't helped his frustration.

Who know if this is true, but maybe that's why Melo flipped out

It really is that simple. They have their best defensive rating by far when he is on the court. also check their w/l record with him on the Court.
