Anybody have a GIF of Lebron James Harden dunking on Sacre?

Wonder if Jamison stood up and cheered that one, lol

Damn, I'd be pretty unsettled by this if I was a Grizz fan. New ownership ready to blow things up before this core really has a chance.

It's really pathetic, unless they really just don't have the money to pay all of them. Other than that it's a disgrace. They have one of the most talented teams out there and their crowd certainly gets behind them. It's a slap in the face to that city with all these trade rumors involving Gay and ZBO.

This has to be a negative effect on that locker room. It's really sad.

All I'm saying is something has to change. What LeBron is asked to do in those 38 minutes is going to shorten his career. Yeah there are other guys playing more minutes or playing the same number of minutes, but nobody is literally carrying every facet of their team like LeBron. Kobe may be averaging 39 minutes a night, but he just has to score. He's not guarding the other team's best player, Metta can do that. He doesn't have to be the team's primary scorer and ball handler cause Nash can do one of those. He doesn't have to be the big rebounder cause Dwight, Pau, Hill, Jamison or even Metta can do that. LeBron literally has to rebound the most for the team, he has to get guys into position to make shots, he has to score himself when the bench is out there blowing leads or not putting up enough points to catch up. He has to expend max energy on the defensive end guarding the best or at least second best player on the other team and he has to do it night in, night out it seems. That can't be good for his long term health. They need to try to do something to take pressure off of him.

MJ in his 11th year was the first of his next three titles.. which saw his minutes go down considering his body was changing/aging

Malone in his 12th year saw his minutes dip down his usual

That looks like the season where bodies begin to truly break down or at least slow down, in the 11th or 12th year. So LeBron could already be at his crossroad in terms of being more athletic than everyone else... which is crazy to think about.

But if you look at MJ's and Malone's minutes the first 10 years you'll see something very similar to LeBron's. Granted LeBron played in two Olympics as opposed to MJ/Malone playing in only one.
How much of that was bodies wearing down vs. smart coaches resting guys during the season and saving them for the playoffs?

I think it's the latter more than anything.

I agree though. Even if Miami isn't built to let LeBron rest, they need to do it. I don't think it's smart for any player to average close to 40 mpg. If you can't find three four-minute breaks for your guys, I think you're mismanaging your roster.

Besides LeBron and his minutes lol Anyone checkout the Nets and the Houston? But I saw a surprising stat for the Nets last night vs sub-.500 teams they are undefeated. Which is awesome stat. All the other teams in the same area are top 5 teams in league record wise.

Why do I keep seeing trade rumors about Rudy Gay and Z-Bo? Is there something I don't know about a 23-10 team.

Why compare averages to guys who aren't leading their team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks?

How many of those league leaders are playing out of position?

How many of those league leaders played through the NBA Finals in consecutive years and then straight to the Olympics?

I didn't watch the Heat/Pacers game, but running dude 42 minutes and losing by how much they did is asinine.

I don't care how good Lebron's personal trainers are. He's going to go down when the Heat need him most. And it's not going to be a regular season game in January.

Question: If Lebron is playing 38 MPG, how is that going to affect his health long term? Are we talking a career being shortened by 2-3 years because of the amount he minutes he plays?

As everyone here knows.... I'm a huge LeBron James fan. I've been since he was in HS. So I will be the first to say. I been waiting for him to get hurt since the day he stepped in the league. And he hasn't. Every year he get his ankle hurt here and there. Misses a few games. Until he gets a major injury. I don't see a problem with him playing major minutes in a close game.

                            Stat of the Day:

Reggie Evans would've broken the Nets' rebounding record last night had P.J. Carlesimo decided against sitting him for the final 14 minutes. He grabbed 23 rebounds in 27 minutes, for Brook's sake. His rebound percentage was 50.6% in 27 minutes! He grabbed over half of all available rebounds for both teams when he was on the floor! When he left the game, he single-handedly was out-rebounding the Sixers 23-20! The Sixers as a team ended the game with lower rebounding percentage than Reginald Jamaal Evans by over 11%!

Form looks nice, not as much elevation, but that'll come in due time.

I feel like his jump shot will be really good when he returns man.

I feel the same way. I feel that way about most players who are not known as jump shooters.
