But he's certainly not going to improve. Besides, the game goes beyond stats. He just looked lost in those 16 minutes where he didn't score. He was committing stupid fouls, and slacking on defense.

Yup. And possibly LAL if they can get hot at the right time and sneak into the playoffs.

Yes. Wade sucks, LeBron is the bestest ever. Pay no mind to the fact that Wade's coming back from knee surgery, every Heat loss is his or Spo's fault. It's very much the same way that Westbrook is scapegoated for every Thunder loss.

Agreed. The difference is consistency. He'll go off and show vintage Wade for a string of games and then look really old in others. He's still a top 5 SG but what does that really mean. It's not so black and white.

I don't think LAL has a chance at the Finals. Even if they were to make it to the playoffs, they'd have to face either OKC, SAS, LAC or MEM in the playoffs. Only team they could possibly beat is LAC, but even that would be difficult.

I can't see Memphis or the Clippers winning it. The Lakers will be lucky to make the playoffs at this point, and if they finish in the 8 hole, it won't matter anyways. I think OKC is just going to steamroll through the playoffs this year.

Yeah, he's physically regressed. It seems to me he's gotten more efficient to compensate (He's posting up a lot more it seems to me) though. This was just a game where it wasn't his night.

It's why I haven't said anything about Westbrook in a minute. I realized I was being a hypocrite.

It just wasn't his night. Every player has bad games. D-Wade has always slacked on defense when his offense isn't on. This isn't new.

Edit: It's nice to see my boy Wroten finally starting to get some minutes now that Ellington is gone. Once he gets that mid-range game in his arsenal he's going to be a problem IMO.

They actually played this way against Memphis too, the day of their meeting. Memphis just went on a run and the Lakers gave up halfway through the 3rd.

To win the title? No chance in hell.

They have the talent to beat anybody in the league on any given night. Look at both of the NY Giants teams that won the Super Bowl. They slipped into the playoffs, got hot, and beat the best the conference had to offer. They then beat possibly the greatest sports franchise in the world today, twice.

If the Lakers can gel, they can win.
