So we ended up 2 - 2 against Manhattan in the regular season...not bad. I'm sure the playoff series will be nuts barring any catastrophes for either team...or the Nets screwing chemistry with this "supposed trade" for Rudy Gay.

I'm getting ahead of myself though


AND I'm annoyed I'm working all day and missing all the Basketball.

Del negro is dumb.

The man has no strategy in his blood...not only that but Jordan has a halfway decent post game yet he manages to make him look like a ghost against a team with no real center.

All he did was play back and forth ball and left bledsoe in knowing GS was playing zone defense.

That was a bad move by Del Negro to not have Crawford in at the end when they were down. The fact that Paul forced that shot at the end did them in, they had a chance to tie. He clearly is hurt was laboring all game. When healthy I think the Clips could handle the Warriors in a series. Bledsoe and his horrible IQ also didn't help the matter. I don't think you pin this loss on Del Negro.

I heard a stat that this season the Clippers have only lost one game after leading entering the 4th quarter [27-1] and are actually undefeated on the road [11-0]. So Del Negro has had them maintaining leads and finishing games that they had the lead in. I'd say that takes some good strategy.

Jordan's absence to close games is the eternal question. Last year he was subbed out for Reggie Evans and Kenyon Martin which was ultimately the right decision. This year now he has Odom finishing games. I can't say it's been such a bad decision since they have been right at the top of the western conference all year long and went on a franchise record winning streak.

Once the playoffs come it will be interesting to see who Del Negro plays to end games.

Yes I'm sure he has done his fair share in finishing out games. Their record of finishing games is very impressive regardless. 38-2 after leading in the 4th is great. Del Negro deserves some credit for that and the season they're having so far. Takes strategy and adjustments to get to that record. The way he's handled Crawford and Barnes has definitely allowed them to have great seasons after both were forgotten men on other teams.

No he didn't.he kept trying to run and had them chucking 3s...

The guy put in bledsoe who can't shoot in at the end over Crawford who was hot and no DJ...not even hollibs for length and rebounding

Del Negro deserves some credit for their record so far, some credit for going on a franchise record winning streak, some credit for turning forgotten men in Barnes and Crawford into primetime bench players and some credit for being at the top of the west so far this year.

He got outcoached today, so what? It's the NBA, it happens. You point to DeAndre Jordan like it's such a tragedy. They have won a ton of games without him closing out games, going back to last year.

Of course the players deserve a majority of the credit. Del Negro is in a lose lose situation. I guess some people will never be satisfied with certain coaches. Even if he wins a title, people will still want him fired. Lol. Hell look at Spoelstra.
