Re: 1-21/1-28 game disscussion
That's my point though. The Clippers have Chris Paul and will have Chauncey back out on the floor and dudes are talking like literally the only way the Clippers can win games or score the ball is by running up and down the court and throwing oops. When the game slows down as if they're incapable of playing any half court sets.
Obviously, they're going to need CP3 whether he's 100% or 80%(I'd put my money on this being likely, especially at that time of the year and with the kind of injury he has)but my main concern with them is with Vinny in the playoffs especially when teams tend to shorten their rotations, the game becomes slower and coaching actually has an significant impact in a series.Wouldn't your main concern about the Clippers be their half-court offense execution when the game slows down??... and there won't be of these Lob City fast break highlights? Or Blake Griffin's one dimensional game, and not having a go-to move in the post? Or that they're likely to play the Spurs in the 2nd round who, come on let's be real, will have a difficult time beating San Antonio 4x, a team they didn't get 1 victory against in last years playoff. Combine that in with Vinny del Negro haha. No chance.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 1-21/1-28 game disscussion
Glad we pulled that out. Ugly game but a win.
Pretty easy stretch of games coming up for the Knicks, only 6 of the next 8 against non playoff teams, with the other 2 being at home against Atlanta and Milwaukee. Hopefully we can get on a nice little run here.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: 1-21/1-28 game disscussion
I'm guessing by "dudes" you mean me, 24th and d11king since we were the only ones really taking about it(I originally brought it up)and neither me nor d11 were acting like or saying that they couldn't. Here's my original post:
Not either one of those posts questioned whether the Clippers were capable of running a half court offense. If anything, my OP was more of a shot at Vinny and my lack of confidence in him in the postseason(because he has given us to reason to really not have any regardless of who he has)than it was about the team.
I mean in general in the bball forum because that wasn't the first time it was expressed in here that 'come playoff time, there won't be any of this Lob City' as if A) that's the only thing the Clippers can do and B) we haven't seen a transition offense heavy team already go through the playoffs and still win while primarily doing their transition thing. It's just so cliche sounding to me to just go on about the game slowing down in the playoffs.Comment

Re: 1-21/1-28 game disscussion
I mean, even in a slowed down pace or a half court game, what other point guard would you want to lead your team than Chris Paul?
I think any of Memphis, LA, SA or OKC could for sure represent the conference. That's what I've said from the start and I don't see that changing.Comment

Good discussion on AAU there. It really is terrible for the game all this AAU ball.Comment
