I miss basketball 2 nights in a row. Nice to see Boston answer back with this nice streak. Does this mean they have to get rid of Rondo now?

Kobe Bryant reached out to Dwight Howard with a text message on Thursday to insist that part of his interview with Jackie MacMullen had been misconstrued publicly
So U read this in the morning and thought it was interesting, Why wouldn't he just talk to him in person. Aren't they on the same team?

dwight doesn't have the game or mental makeup to be a franchise player in a major market. he wants all the love but none of the actual responsibility. once kb bows out and la is left with kid buss and d12 leading the lakers organization is gonna be in a bad way for a good while.

To a degree, I agree with you 23. He's paid to pop off, but at the same time, he's paid to actually give legit basketball analysis on topics on hand. Not get on tv and throw his personal grudge about a damn name/logo that neither one of these clowns own every chance he gets. He can go to ESPN and sit across from Skip Bayless with that garbage if he wants to be an "analyst." Guys talk crazy and say some stupid stuff on TNT, I get that, but he literally cannot discuss Dwight without making sure he's against him in EVERY single debate.

Ernie: "So we got this video of Dwight walking his dog today. Thoughts gentleman?"

Shaq: "I don't like it Ernie."

Ernie: "But Shaq it's just walking the dog what's not to like?"

Kenny: "Seriously Shaq, what could you have against this?"

Shaq: "You didn't let me finish. I don't like the dog he has. That dog is not a true big man's dog. I went along in the long lineage of big man dog acquisiton and what he's doing with that bulldog shows me that he is not one of the top big men in the league."

Charles: "Man...are you serious right now. This is turrible Shaq."

Shaq: "I'm just upholding the code of the true big man passed down to me from the greats that came before me, like the great Bill Russell."

Guess the Heat better get out their checkbook. How dare these guys not play in a nationally televised game?

Didn't see this mentioned by anyone here, but Kerr made a great point about Jerry West being 0-6 vs the Lakers in the finals...but sill regarded as "Mr Clutch"

He said he would be killed in today's media

FYP since it said Lakers and I was like "Wait, huh?"

FWIW, he's also the only player to win Finals MVP while playing on the losing team(1969 when they lost to the Celtics).

I think it's a cop out to blame the teammates, When Kobe was getting those assists a lot of the time he found his teammates of cuts to the baskets. Every time the Lakers would cut Kobe kept it to himself yesterday.
Dwight also said he didn't mention anything about to management about getting rid of Stan, he also said he wanted out of Orlando, then said he wanted to stay with Orlando...signed the extension then said he wanted out of Orlando....then said he was forced into signing...maybe at some point we should take what Dwight says with a block of salt? Think hes way past a grain...
