    Re: Starbury returns to NYC?!?

    Great trade man.
Stephon is my favorite player in the game. I was ticked when he signed that extension but now it just means he'll be here for longer. We have a fantastic backcourt now. I just feel sorry for KVH

I can't believe that we got rid of Eisley. We still have Anderson and Harrington. I don't mind those two though; they play hard all the time, especially Shandon.

With regards to the draft picks, the draft looks to be pretty deep this year. There are a lot of solid college players that will be overlooked because of European or high school ballers that will be available in the 2nd round. Gilbert Arenas was picked up in that way. Zeke has a great eye for talent so I'm sensing good things for the Knicks.

I agree with the trade because it makes the Knicks a better team right now which is important for a NY team. I don't mind the Draft picks too much because it's going to be a weak draft.(Other than Okafor from CT)

Unbelievably good deal for the Knicks. They didn't give up anything of consequence, and got a big-time point guard who was literally "born to play in NY" in return. Now, they must re-sign Kurt Thomas. Their lineup is now quite deep, and they can feature a second-team of Frank Williams, Penny Hardaway, Shandon Anderson, Mike Sweetney, and Doleac. Giving up the first round picks isn't that bad, since they already have Sweetney and Lampje (both lottery quality) in the wings. They are still crappy defensively, but they should be able to score now. I think this helps Van Horn (despite the fact that Marbury hates him), since Marbury's forte is penetrating and dishing for the outside jumper. Although I wouldn't be shocked to see them deal KVH now, either. So far, so good, Zeke.

Wow. The Knicks made out like bandits in this deal. They can surely make a push for the playoffs now.

So, does everyone think that the Knicks got the better end of the deal, and that the Suns look like they are giving up on the season? I don't see this trade helping out the Suns as much as it is helping out the Knicks.
