He's in his last year of contract. Knicks wanted to get something for him while they could. This trade had nothing to do with his ability at all.

Anybody ever consider the fact that maybe the CITY boy Marbury didn't want anything to do with playing basketball/living in America's heartland Minnesota? Reading his comments after signing the 4 year extension this past October seemed to indicate that he was finally happy to be "wanted" by Phoenix, and was looking forward to living there. That all goes out the window now, as being traded to the Knicks is Marbury's lifelong wish.

Oh well, doesnt matter to me cuz last time the Celts played pheonix, Banks looked NASTY against Marbury.

                        The dynasty will return

I just woke up........I'm in shock.

Give me some time to think and I'll post my opinion later.

Right now, I dont like it.

If Kobe even comes close to Phoenix as a potential destination, I will cut myself off of the Phoenix fanbase.
