I feel bad for the kid (Brandon Knight) though he seem like a good person.

I keep hearing people say Deandre's Dunk wasn't impressive because of BKnight's size. We're not gauging difficulty of the dunk, we're gauging wow factor. And DeAndre Jordan isn't going to knock another dude the same size down the same way he did Brandon Knight. The size differential lead to brandon knight getting knocked down on his butt, which gave the dunk even more of a wow factor.

If Debo hit a 5'2" dude and that dude landed across the street you'd be in awe. It may not take much effort for Debo to hit him, but the results will still make smokey say "you got knocked the f out"

I wish Live DVR existed back then. I probably would've finished that game an hour later than when it did just cause of all the rewinding hah

It was an awesome dunk. But I'm not gonna praise it as one of the best of all-time. That is due to Brandon Knight being such a little guy compared to Jordan. It is one of the best of the season though.

I agree. Great dunk, but this season alone Barnes over Pek takes the cake. Second I say is Kobe over two Nets, both taller than him, in the last three minutes of a tie game.

              This was fun though:

I like the J.O. dunk, but I don't think I like it as much as the Kirilenko slam. I never understood how the J.O. dunked ended up in FSN Top Ten of all-time (most of which was actually kind of accurate). It's a great dunk, but there's limited contact if nothing else.

Anyway, Davis has about four or five slams over his career that I love though (not including college, where had a few more I loved). Here's a sampling:

Because I've explained what I said 3 different times and you're still arguing as if it's something it never was. You stated where you're coming from and I've even said in different ways how I agree. That's why I don't get why you're replies are just explaining the same thing again.

And you've continued to ask "I don't know what the argument is", so I was only responding, not trying to "get the last word". I showed you where I saw the disagreement. Nothing more.

This irks me, and here is why. Basketball is the only sport where a guy who is completely mismatched and still hangs in there and gives it a 100% effort, ends up getting ridiculed for doing so. What the hell is Brandon Knight supposed to do there? quit on the play? Just get out the way. Or does he stay with it, and say well If you get the dunk you get the dunk but you for dam sure are gonna have to go through me to do it, becaues despite being 75 lbs lighter, I am not relenting my ground. I respect Brandon Knight MORE for hanging in there, making the effort and not quitting on the play like so many people insinuate that he should have but wont flat out say that. Only in basketball it seems acceptable to quit on a play so you don't wind up on someone elses highlight reel. Well the reason The Jordan dunk is so impressive IS THE FACT that Knight does not quit on the play and makes Jordan have to power through him to finish.

He's not being ridiculed in the sense you are talking about. I'm pretty sure his coach, teammates, and front office folks respect his effort. It just happened to have occured at a really really really really really bad time.

It's not ridicule, it's just really funny... anybody who's worth listening to (respected players, coaches, hall of famers, etc) would tell him to keep up that same level of effort, and learn from it. Maybe next time he'll see it developing earlier and go for a charge instead of fouling him.
