Just didn't think it'd translate to the NBA. Thought he was a clown who wouldn't get it. Had no clue how hard a worker he really is.
Well his fitness was a problem early in his career but he came back in great shape. I'm just glad that something clicked for him because he won't be outworked.

What meant was he is good but at times he has serious brain farts. Stupid fouls, some unwillingness to play sound defense. Not asking for defensive player of the year, just rotating and help defense. But hes been a lot better as of late. Better focused.

Because I had/have previous evidence over the past few years that suggested otherwise so it wasn't out the realm of possibility to think he could replicate some of that here, which he did this series with the exception of Game 5 and now tonight.

Please, don't make me defend this dude...at least not for a week or so lol.

Well he is right about players taking credit when they win and blaming the coach as soon as they lose. At least he tries to put the onus on the players from time to time. Now saying that, I can see why both organizations would decide not to bring back their coach for next season for reasons already discussed on here.

Thoughts on the game ( I recorded it and just finished watching). I thought the game was on Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson. I didn't know Brook had 21 and 9 until after the game but he clearly got outplayed by Noah. Brook needed to play much better defensively and I don't know why he didn't look to shoot in the last minute. I feel kinda bad criticizing Joe Johnson because it seemed like his foot was really bothering it but I doubt he gives a ---- about what I think lol.

As far as I know, the players haven't blamed Del Negro for anything, but the fans have been calling for him to go since last year. Barkley is being ********.... It would help if some of these guys actually did more than rely on talent to win and do it for them all the time...coaching in save my job mode isnt going to get it.

I can't find a single reason why Del Negro should be back.. not PJ, you can talk to Pack about that one.

You could make a case that a less than 100% Derrick Rose would hurt more than help (with Hinrich returning likely), remember the Sixers series? We should've won that, but we lost because the energy left the team when Rose hit the ground. This team is grinding out wins right now and coming back short of 100% (especially because teams will gun for him, especially in the playoffs) is a bad proposition. Rose has played through several injuries in his career and questioning him on not doing it in this case is short sighted.

Hell of a series though, one of the most memorable at least for me, that Game Four comeback coupled with this victory. Definitely up there as a Bulls and basketball fan.

Sadly I'll miss the first three games of the series due to school and work, but I'll at least have Scorecenter on my phone to keep up somewhat.

It would make absolutely no sense for D.Rose to come back now. He's not coming back until next season.

This first round of EC games got real interesting this week.

Love the NBA playoffs. Congrats to the Bulls. Would have been nice to see a second NYC team advance but gotta like watching this Bulls team.

I thought when the Bulls picked him that it was a pretty good pick because I felt he would provide energy, defense and rebounding for sure. Never thought he would be as good all around like he is now. Also felt like he was a pretty good leader at Florida but wasn't sure how he could do that in the NBA, changed my mind about his leadership in his rookie year when Ben Wallace and a few other knuckle heads were there. Think they were on a loosing streak or something and was reported that Noah went off on Ben Wallace and a few others about laughing while they were loosing. Not taking it as serious as they should. That there changed my mind about him and I knew he could be the leader for the Bulls that he was for Florida. have to give him his props for sure.

It's Sunday Morning and PJ is still the Coach.

Hope that ***hole has his stuff already packed and is just waiting to get "that call".

I didn't get to watch last night's game, was out with the lady. Can't believe Thibs, this dude is so legit. I think any other coach but Pop would have lost this series.

The Nets never seemed to have that "it" factor all year. I don't think they have the leadership or toughness in the organization yet.

I seen Cam and his little *** ears at the game last night. Think CC and few other athletes were there as well.

But this MFer Joe was invisible in the biggest game of the year and got the nerve to go out and party like he just won the championsip?
