Of course the worst schedule incidents have all happened with ESPN's involvement.

What's the reasoning behind the scheduling? It just doesn't make any sense in regards to ratings or viewership.

          ^This.

And I don't like how they have the same conferences playing at the same time either.

In the event hat I was remotely interested in the Pacers/Hawks series, couldn't even watch it.

          Damn shame.

            While saying this, Boston won't make 50% and 11 3's...at least, I don't think.
No Boston won't make 11 3's but they also won't miss everything like the 1st 3 games.

Bass had done a tremendous job on Melo in this series.

I think the biggest development was that.. that was the 1st game KG dominated in this series.

              Bass on Melo was huge.

Melo deciding not to share the rock is also a major factor.

Look, in the 3rd quarter when the Knicks made a comeback early, Melo didn't touch the ball once. He stood by the three point line and guys were moving, setting picks, getting to the basket and scoring.

But both Melo and JR wanted to win the game on their own accord. Melo is being stubborn. Not driving to the basket. Taking contested shots.

I don't even care about the lack of assists. But why is this man not driving to the basket? It's as if the refs don't make one call he perceives to be a foul and he decides to abandon the approach.

Smith the same. Where's JR from March/April, driving to the basket? He took at least two fadeaway jumpers from 19 feet out with poor foot planting. It was awful.

And evidence that Melo gave up on driving was apparent when he stood off to the side watching his teammates.

He had one possession after the Rivers timeout in the third in which he accepted a pass by the three point line and had space to drive by Bass who was sharing his left. Instead Melo passed the ball to Kidd who was moving to the left of the line.

It ate ten seconds for no reason. Melo did that several times in the fourth as well.

I said it before but I really do not know what was Melo's mindset last night. And it sucks because all anyone is asking is why he struggled shooting. Forget that garbage. I want to know why he looked like a scared child on the court.

He simply looked average on the court. Not talking about stats. Talking his attitude on the court. It was disappointing.

I turned the game off with 9 minutes left. I couldn't watch that display. The Knicks played with zero emotion on their own home court in a close out game. Pathetic is the word.

Melo will not get much assist not only because he shoots, but because when he does pass out, the Knicks usually make an extra pass which leads to baskets.

The 2nd part of what I just wrote is the most important part for me. The issue is once he passes out, the player receiving the pass turns around and passes back to Melo via a repost.

The ball hasn't been making it's way around via the extra pass the last 2 games.

Am I worried, nah because we still control our destiny and Melo is 2 good of a scorer to shoot like he's been shooting for 2 more gamez & to the contrary the Knicks are much better than they've displayed the last 2 games
