Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread

Meathead post of the night. You can't play on a team, in a city where a guy played in, dominated and won a Finals game with "the flu" and then not play in a first round playoff game because of the flu.

Did they update and say it was the flu?

Last I heard they had to drain spinal and brain fluid to test for meningitis...so I thought it was more serious....

They really coulda used D Rose stepping in and playing tonight. All these hurt and sick guys playing, it's at your home court, he could have had a legendary moment tonight.

Odd seeing as he had left the arena to get tested

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 1st Round Discussion Thread

Heartbreaking loss last night. Every opportunity to take that game.

I've been trying to stay away from the boards in fear of saying anything irrational and having it captured in time lolol

However, at this point we're banged up beyond repair, and with the guys we do have left, isn't going to be enough to hang around in the next round anyway if we make it. Honestly, I'd rather have Brooklyn try and give the Heat a run, because right now they'd have the better chance offensively to knock Miami out, which at this point now, is all I want to see.

Bulls had too many hurt players. Hopefully they can get health.

13 I don't I kind of feel both team will have their hands full in the next round.

But this is by far the worst injury bug of a season for a playoff team.

I wonder what crawford said lol

They aren't knocking Miami or if they barely get by a hobbled bulls team led by Nate Robinson

The question really is would you rather see a Derrick Rose's less Bulls team (with a long list of injuries) or a Nets team that's been blown out by the Heat during the regular season?

Who will have the honor of being swept by the Heat in the second round?

I will say though. If Deng isn't going to play on Saturday. Nets will most likely win. Also Bulls can't play that up and down type of basketball. If they get into a track meet. It's just not in their favor.

Didn't say they were but now without Deng, and without Hinrich we don't have a prayer.

I'd much rather see the Bulls personally.

The Nets look great on paper but they just don't have that "it" factor watching them play.. The bulls give 110% every game. Always fun to watch IMO.
