Warriors showed a lot of heart. Now The Big Fundamental must get revenge from years ago. The Big 3's last ride! Let's get it.

Re: Western Conference Semifinals Discussion Thread

What a season for the Warriors. I enjoyed watching them as the season continued on and I didn't regret it. This team has a lot of good parts to build around (Curry, Barnes and Lee), so the future looks bright. Klay Thompson has a lot of growing to do still as he really faded against the Spurs besides that little outburst he had in Game 2. I thought this team was able to eliminate the Spurs but of course, this team was still too young and the veteran Spurs knew how to close out games. It's all good as the season can still be considered a success. The Spurs were able to still win with two huge off nights from Parker and Ginobili and that's because they have other players who came through. I'm not gonna be too interested in the Western Conference Finals now. Whoever wins, good for them.

Pretty much what it sounded like when I heard him. Because he thinks they need someone who can score inside.. I guess he doesn't realize they have a 20 and 10 guy who was injured.

Good game/series to the SA Spurs. Hope for the best outcome for your team.

As for the Warriors, man do i love this team. When expectation was 13th overall in the West at best, they defined the doubters and gave us fans a season and postseason to remember. Thank you Dubs!

The ESPN NBA cast is terrible, Magic 1 of the GREATS doesnt know shi about basketball, hes the worst 1 to me, rather listen to Chris Broussard (sp?)

Man, Golden State put together some run. In the end, they're gonna kick themselves all summer about that game 1. We should be looking at a game 7 right now if everything shakes out the same way after they win game 1. Hope this isn't a one and done deal for them and they come back strong next year.

                    Nah,

I think they have the makings of a team that's going to be around for a while. Can rebound the basketball, can defend the paint and can shoot their *** off.

We have to assume that Thompson and Barnes are going to get better, and from what I've seen from Barnes, he's developing a nice post up game, and is starting to learn how to effectively use his body to create space and get his own shot and Curry has already shown the ability to be able to dial it back and let his teammates go to work, so I don't think that is going to be an issue.

Things they need to think about now are, how can they get rid of the Biedrins and Jefferson contracts and how are they going to replace Jarrett Jack? Because he is undoubtedly getting paid this offseason.

I couldn't be more proud to be a Warriors fan. They showed a lot of heart and fought a veteran team like the Spurs all the way to the end.

This year, the Warriors took us on a hell of a ride. Lots of ups and downs, but still a fun year.

They also managed to beat the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, Heat, Knicks, Pacers, etc all in the same year, which I thought was a pretty impressive feat.

Having said that, the future with the Warriors looks really bright with this team's core of Curry, Thompson, Lee, Barnes, Bogut, etc all returning next year. I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Honestly, the Splash Brothers became the Brick Brothers after halftime at game 2. Curry was pretty dreadful during the last five games and Thompson came back down to Earth after the Spurs stopped leaving him wide open in game 2. Danny Green was huge for the Spurs in this series. The dude pretty much shut down Curry and may be my series MVP.

Curry shot 36% from the floor in games 2-6. He can jack up as many shots as he wants at that shooting percentage and I'll be fine with it. Likewise, after going off in the first half game 2, in games 3-6, Thompson only shot 33% from the floor.

That and the Spurs made adjustments too, which is something they've always been really good at.
