Last I checked, rivalries span more than 2 years. Not sure when you started wathcing, but this has been going on for more than 2 years. And if you think it hasn't been competitive, then you haven't been paying attention.

    1. No, it was Jamaal Tinsleys mom dieing, REggie Miller being injured, Jermaine's dad having a self inflected gun shot wound, all that mixed in with soome questionable caching moves. I dont see all of that happening again this yr

Heh, you left off Al Harrington having a hang nail.

Just kidding, but there's a million and one excuses that any losing team can come up with to try and justify a loss. If this was such a meaningless game, you shouldn't be getting all worked up over one loss.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

That was my point. It WAS a rivalry, but has been dead lately. The Pacers have been in teh plyoffs, while the Knicks havent even made it there. I have been watching since the 1998 NBA season, BTW.

I know you were kidding, and Indy had lost of reasons for there total collapse, but they had players losing parents and other crazy things that you would never expect. Not saying that is a excuse.

Im not getting worked up over the game, Im getting worked up over the fact that NY players can bash Oneal, fo rjsut being passionate about the game he opalys

You've used the excuse that O'Neal was hurt in just about every post about the game, yet don't even mention that Houston was hurt and didn't even play. Sure, you might add in a "but I still give credit to the Knicks," but it's pretty obvious you are making excuses, just like you did for the Pacers falling apart last season.

And if you want to try and act like Jermaine was just saying the he didn't like the way the Knicks celebrated, go right ahead. Everyone else who isn't thickheaded will know that when he says "we'll rememeber that" he's talking about the playoffs, and talking like he knows about going deep in the playoffs.

Yes, because O Neal isnt a big part of this team. Excuses? If anyone is to thickheaded enough to realize that grown men going through personal issues and bad coaching can affect a team, than I have nothing further to say, as your ignorance can not be matched.

Are you reading my [censored] posts. I did mention he as hurt, I even made a joke that he shouldnt ever play, cause they seem to paly better whe he is on the IL.

As for JO comments, I never said he didnt mean those comments. Way to put words into my mouth. He said he idnt like the way they celebrated in one line. In the other he had a point, seeing how they have the best record in the east, and the top 3 in the NBA.

You've used the excuse that O'Neal was hurt in just about every post about the game, yet don't even mention that Houston was hurt and didn't even play.
