      Raptors trade #1:
      Raptors trade- Bargnani
Team X trades- 2nd round draft pick

      Raptors trade #2:
      Raptors trade- Kleiza,Gray
Team Y trades- 2nd round draft pick

      Raptors trade #3:
      Raptors trade- Fields,Two 2nd round picks(acquired in trade 1 and 2)
Team Z trades- Late 1st round pick in 2013

Not entirely sure how the trade exception stuff goes in NBA, but what would team X,Y,Z need to add to each trade to make it happen?

Kleiza,Gray shouldn't have been here this year(but due to player option, they are). Bargnani has 11M deal this year and 12M next year to be a bench guy. And Fields makes 5M this year but 8.5M next year

Raptors currently have 12 guys signed to deals for 13-14 season. Getting rid of those 4 I listed, and replacing them with a single player(possibly 1-2 more depending on how salary stuff ends up) would result in saving up to 23M in salary.

So having around 20M in free space to spend on 3 or so BENCH players is more than enough.

No way would the Cavs give up all that for the risk of Cousins leaving.. I guess you guys didn't notice how well Thompson was playing the second half of the season..

Re: NBA Draft Day Trades You'd Like to See

If Cousins gets traded, I do not see a team giving up picks or players and not get Cousins. The Bobcats could try and build a deal around the 4th overall if they wanted Cousins, as could the Cavs with #1 overall. I doubt the Cavs would trade their whole draft, along with Tristan for Cousins and the 4th overall. Thats putting too much into a player with character concerns, as well as going to be a RFA soon. That type of trade only helps the Kings IMO, but a lot of risk involved for the Bobcats and Cavs.

Here are some deals I think could happen

                Cavs Receive:
                13th
                SF Shawn Marion

                DAL Receives:
                19th pick

Mavs want to go after Dwight and/or CP3 and need to clear cap space. Trading Marion allows them to get more cap space, as well as less of a cap hit by moving down in the draft. Cavs get to move up 6 spots because they take on Marions contract.

                Cavs Receive:
                PF Thomas Robinson

                Rockets Receive:
                19th pick
                or
                31st and 33rd picks

Just like the Mavs, Rockets want to have as much cap space as possible to offer Dwight. I put two options because IMO it depends on if HOU wants to save as much cap space as possible, or at least want some sort of value for Robinson. For the Cavs, they add another young big with potential alongside Tristan and Zeller.

there is actually an early termination clause in marions contract, they don't have to make a trade to dump em

its a player option, so cuban is talking with him about opting out and signing a longer contract for less $ per year

I'd like to see a 3-team megadeal between the Cavs, Kings, and Bobcats atop the draft.

                    Cavaliers Receive

                    DeMarcus Cousins (from Kings)
#4 pick (from Bobcats) - use to draft Anthony Bennett

                    Kings Receive

#1 pick (from Cavs) - use to draft Nerlens Noel
#19 pick (from Cavs) - use to draft someone like Dennis Schroeder or Steven Adams
                    # 31 pick (from Cavs) - use to draft Myck Kabongo
#33 pick (from Cavs) - use to draft Glen Rice Jr.

                    Bobcats Receive

                    Tristan Thompson (from Cavs)
#7 pick (from Sacramento) - use to draft Alex Len, Victor Oladipo, or Trey Burke

In this proposed trade the Cavs get another foundational player to pair with Kyrie in DeMarcus Cousins as well as a tantalizing prospect in Anthony Bennett. The price is steep (Thompson, picks #1, 19, 31, and 33) but putting together a trio of Irving, Cousins, and Bennett would be too good to pass up. The Cavs would be one of the most exciting teams to build into contenders in 2K14.

The Kings receive a plethora or picks (including #1 overall), dump their headache center, and get to rebuild fresh under new ownership. Sacramento would also play themselves into a top 3 pick next season while Noel spends half the season recovering.

Charlotte moves down a few spots in the draft, picks up a young power forward in Tristan Thompson, and have the luxury of drafting the best player that falls to them. The Bobcats need talent, any player in the top 7 will help the team.
If Len were to drop to 7 I think this would actually be a great deal for Charlotte assuming they resign Henderson to a reasonable deal. A Kemba/Gerald Henderson/MKG/Tristan Thompson/Alex Len starting 5 is full of high character, hard working good potential players. I could see 33-35ish wins with Sessions, Ben Gordon, Jeff Taylor, Biyombo, and Brendan Haywood on the bench providing decent depth and them only getting better. (Hey going from 7, to 21, to 35 wins is progress).

I wouldn't give up the 33rd pick for Cousins. That man is legitimately insane.

Whatever brings Demarcus Cousins to the Queen City.

My man has been a headache, and a headcase, but he's a monster all things considered. And so young too, I can only imagine if Clifford adds Patrick Ewing to the staff what he can accomplish.

I want the Cav to try and get Thomas Robinson. I think he can be a very good backup and improve our bench drastically. Since the rockets wanna clear cap space, both second rounders seems reasonable if theyre just trying to get rid of him.
