Your nose has been up Kobes's hanes so long you have no idea what you're talking about.

The guy lost many people, almost all the people closest to him. I know you're young because you have no idea what kind of effect death has on a person. How many close people have you lost?

Second the man plays very hard, that's how he beat your hero Kobe out for the scoring title last year. He has called his teammates out on numerous occasions and took criticisms for doing so, I wouldn't doubt you didn't do it either. When a player is as good as Tmac is, he is obviously doing something right, *****. Because you don't like him doesn't mean you have to think up stuff that holds no weight. I can at least give Kobe credit for being a baller, but huggers like you find that very difficult to do on the other side.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

yes i love kobe...he is my favorite player...but that has nothing to do with it...if these deaths have so much affect...how come they won opening tonight against the knicks ...then lost 19 in a row ...did these deaths stop him from torching the knicks and leading a comeback victory ...lemme guess ...he had extra motivation, huh

how much heart do you have to show when you can score when you want to...who cares about scoring titles...in relation to kobe, kb8 has more meaningful titles if you know what im sayin...and even though they both lost in the playoffs last year...kobe went farther

there is a difference between calling out your teammates to make them better and calling them bums...why in almost every interview he has to stay he wishes he had that other max player on his side...how if he had someone to shoulder the load with...how his name is tmac BLAH BLAH BLAH...he discredits his teammates by saying noone there can help him...i wouldnt want to play with a dude like that...take your ball and go home

im 18, i lost my grandmother, mothers day, a few years back...i think of her often

      Shut the [censored] up.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

If I was a professional basketball player and my friends and familiy started dropping like flies, the last thing I would want to focus on is basketball.

T-Mac had no motivation to play. Of course he's going to criticize his teammates, or the league, or consider retirement.

I can't believe you even brought up the 19 game loosing streak. Get a life.

He has called his teammates out on numerous occasions and took criticisms for doing so, I wouldn't doubt you didn't do it either. When a player is as good as Tmac is, he is obviously doing something right, *****. Because you don't like him doesn't mean you have to think up stuff that holds no weight. I can at least give Kobe credit for being a baller, but huggers like you find that very difficult to do on the other side.

yes i love kobe...he is my favorite player...but that has nothing to do with it...if these deaths have so much affect...how come they won opening tonight against the knicks ...then lost 19 in a row ...did these deaths stop him from torching the knicks and leading a comeback victory ...lemme guess ...he had extra motivation, huh

how much heart do you have to show when you can score when you want to...who cares about scoring titles...in relation to kobe, kb8 has more meaningful titles if you know what im sayin...and even though they both lost in the playoffs last year...kobe went farther

there is a difference between calling out your teammates to make them better and calling them bums...why in almost every interview he has to stay he wishes he had that other max player on his side...how if he had someone to shoulder the load with...how his name is tmac BLAH BLAH BLAH...he discredits his teammates by saying noone there can help him...i wouldnt want to play with a dude like that...take your ball and go home

im 18, i lost my grandmother, mothers day, a few years back...i think of her often

Get a life.

Not justifying either perspective really, but I can see how it would make a significant contribution to the 19-game losing streak. For one, when he starts losing like 5 games in a row, I can see how he'd get seriously depressed and start meditating on all the bad things that has happened to him, which would make him even more depressed. It becomes harder and harder to get out of that depression, and the more he loses, the more he'll get depressed. It's kind of like negative feedback. It's just hard to pull yourself out of a situation like that.

McGrady has been through a lot, though and I can't even begin to imagine his sorrow.

I didn't know most of that stuff about T-Mac and can probably imagine it would affect him in some ways on and off the court in his job as a proffesional sportsman.

But it just goes to show the way certain players are viewed and the way in which characters are formed. I have seen quite a few posts lately saying that Allen Iverson has too many injuries because he eats junk food and doesn't work out. Yet when Carter and other guys go down then it's all down to bad luck and magical curses. Now this T-Mac article will be brought up for times to come in his defence of lashing out at teammate and losing streaks. Yet for a guy like Iverson, an often misunderstood guy I might add, he is quick to be called a punk. He has had close friends die, court cases to deal with and even a baby brother (to be) died at birth recently and I can imagine a whole heap of other stuff we never hear about. Everyone has problems. Yet I doubt I'd ever see anyone using any of these reasons to why he might go missing or get in strange moods.

People that call AI a punk are AI haters. jordan here is a Tmac ***** saying he don't work hard, don't practice and all. He's just rambling off at the mouth. You know nothing of what you're talking about. Tmac didn't lose those games, he just doesn't have help. When Shaq was out, the Lakers lost to teams like Cleveland (no Lebron). Kobe has rings because he had Sahq there, don't act as though he is just that much better. This is what I'm talking about people like you that probably have a golden statue of Kobe in their rooms worshipping it like it's Mary, make post trying to discredit Tmac to make Kobe look better in their own minds. Get over it, individually, Tmac worked Kobe everytime they met,up. Even before Kobe elbowed him in the back.

If you look at the Magic team, 2 players are there that was there last year, and the rest gone, and when you saw TMac passing the ball to those guys they blew open lay-ups and never made their shots. The team also don't like to play D. I know you want to blame Tmac, but he does his part, and both losing last year is just that, they both lost.

The difference is Kobe left the floor crying like little girl on Fishers shoulder.
