Re: 11/5 - 11/11 Games Discussion Thread
They are good enough to make the playoffs and that's about as far as I'd prognosticate on their team. I'll wait until say... Jan 24th when they play @ Golden State. We'll know what type of squad they are by then. If they stay injury free and continue to gel they'll make some noise, may not be much but they'll make some.Comment

I know you didn't ask me but I'll say this, I like the squad but I'm not unrealistic about things lol.

They're only good enough to make the playoffs? I'd say they way they're playing right now they're good enough to make some noise in the playoffs.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

I would not expect the Wolves to take out the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers nor Warriors. They'd give it a good effort, but that's all I see.Comment

Bledsoe's been doing that since he first got into the league. It's good to see him producing big numbers he seems like a nice kid.Comment

Harden got fined 5,000 for flopping again. He is the first this season.
It's really bad too...

That and the fact, you usually get a much better barometer of how good a team is 2 months into the season as opposed to after 6 games, when the sample size is still too small.#RespectTheCultureComment

I have no idea what that question is because I wasn't saying whatever it is that you thought I was saying. I'll try to word it properly and in much more layman terms just for you next time.
I meant by that time not specifically in reference to that specific game nor it's outcome. Just using the date of that game as a point in reference to judge where they are at by then.Last edited by Boltman; 11-11-2013, 03:46 PM.Comment

Re: 11/5 - 11/11 Games Discussion Thread
I think the Wolves are legit, they are no longer a doormat, even though it's been small sample size. But we are seeing what they can do when Rubio and Love can stay on the floor together.
That being said the West is so tough, I don't know how far they could go in the playoffs, and they certainly have hardly any experience there.
But they've gone from league doormat to a tough draw for any team on any night. Nobody wants to play this team. And out of the powers in the West, I think they could beat Memphis, but that's as far as I'm gonna go.Comment

Re: 11/5 - 11/11 Games Discussion Thread
We already knew what they could do with those 2 on the floor. The problem for them is/was getting them on the floor together for more than half the season. They went thru the same thing last year, where folks were jumping on the wagon and then the injuries came, their season went down after that and then people jumped off the wagon.
That's why I'm holding off on calling them legit or saying their "for real" because we have yet to see them healthy for more than 25-50% of the season.
Hell, ya'll seen the standings for the East that 24 posted on here a few days ago. And I don't think anybody is taking that seriously at this point in the season, especially where some of those teams are at.#RespectTheCultureComment
