Doug plays a weird position honestly. A position that the best guys in the NBA play 3 & 4. While Nik would have a better lane to succeed in imo. And honestly if we draft doug we have to trade either Bismack or MKG as Doug will be fighting for minutes at their positions and we would be wasting money with all of them. McRoberts should be a guy we are jumping to bring back.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
wheres the harm in putting MKG @ the 2, hes not going to contribute much on offense and hes going to be guarding the other teams best wing regardless of if hes @ the 2 or 3.
also mcbob should def be replaced by mcbuckets. unless you want to name them the charlotte mchornetsComment

Hmm I see the Raps are talking trade with Memphis for Tayshaun Prince and the #22 pick. The Grizz would get John Salmons (LOL!) and the 37th pick.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

McDermott doesn't really play a weird position. He's a scoring small forward.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Memphis is only ok with trading Prince because Lee and Johnson played so well, and arguably better defensively last season. But that trade is just horrible. If they do that, I'm assuming it's to give ZBo the extra money he was wanting.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Payton was on of my favorite prospects back when he was a late 1st. Now I'm kinda concerned he's being overhyped. I do still like him a lot. But I'd be cautious of getting my expectations too high.
anyone else besides me probably too excited for this draft to happen already?
--chad ford thinks bucks should take exum #2 if wiggins is gone
Spoiler
Chad Ford: Well, obviously Jabari Parker is the safe pick here, and I think he makes some sense. Milwaukee struggles to score, and Jabari would establish himself almost immediately as the alpha dog on this team offensively. I like that fit. However, I don't like that he showed up at the workout at 255 pounds. And at 6-foot-8½, that causes some concern for me about his abilities to guard small forwards.
That said, I'm intrigued by Dante Exum. I could see him being the sort of player you pair with a Giannis Antetokounmpo. He's a great off-the-court citizen; he blew the Bucks away with his speed for his size and his position, and he's versatile. I think he could play the 1 or the 2. Brandon Knight is not a point guard, so this is a need pick for us. In three years, Exum and Giannis could be a Russell Westbrook/Kevin Durant type of duo -- I'm not saying they'll be as good as those players, but that type of dynamic in Milwaukee. So as much as I love Jabari, my vote is for Dante Exum here.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
We have Zeller already. Where does that leave Bismack? A Doug pick at 9 (which is to high for him honestly) will force someone to lose minutes that needs them to develop. Why not trade Biz and the 24 pick and get a chance at someone in the backcourt where we need the shooting.
Henderson isn't giving us any shooting. Neal can go somewhere because he is nothing without the Spurs system. And don't get me started on CDR.The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
agreed, exum makes more sense than parker @ 2 for the bucks.
giannis has the 3 locked down, and john henson has showed he can be a starting PF. they seriously lack any sort of PG and then exum would allow the bucks to sort out the SG spot with knight/mayoComment

No I'm completely sold on Al. I just don't want him taking a beating down there. We need him to stay healthy for a good 4 more years. I just like Bob being a 5 that isn't in the paint and Al can abuse these 4's.The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
2. Henson and Larry don't really work together, whereas Jabari and Larry would.
At the end of the day, whether it's Wiggins, Jabari, or Exum, all 3 are great fits in Milwaukee, and Jabari and Exum have apparently made it clear they're hoping to go to Milwaukee.NFL: Bills
