Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Thank god we still got Hairston.
I really hate the fact that we did the trade basically for nothing, but hey at least we added some wing scoring with some serious range.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
I remember when I would always try and get him in like 2k10. Him and Jason Thompson and another center would be focal point of my offense, with a revolving three man frontcourt.NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
I like both our guys. I just wish they weren't so risky. Would have preferred someone safer. But this could be a great draft if Vonleh develops and Hairston stays in line.Tennessee Volunteers

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
It's always an interesting dynamic when the guy you get at #26 will probably be a more immediate contributor than the guy you get at #9.
Overall, great draft from Charlotte. I hate the trade, and wish we could've landed McDermott or Stauskus, but we picked up a very talented buy in Vonleh and a guy that fills a big need in Hairston.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Not sure if Shabazz is going to be a great pro, but he's pretty much the opposite of an overhyped guy.
If players were drafted by actual on court performance he would have been a top 10 pick. Because he doesn't have the measurables (Bilas wingspan) he fell to number 24.
Everything we know about Shabazz is from destroying people on the court, not killing it in the combine.Good job! Good effort!Comment
