Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
After the Saric news today I dont think Id touch him in the lottery. This draft is deep enough that while he is a big time talent it might just not be worth it. I honestly dont think he wants to play in the NBA seems alot like Rudy Fernandez.Comment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Yeah, I would be more concerned with the fact he may have weighed in at 255(allegedly). He was too big during the college season at 240, I can't see how he would gain even more weight since then."This is for all of my peoples who understand and truly recognize. Some won't get it and for that i won't apologize"- Talib KweliComment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Id say hes in the top 10 but in the 8-10 range. I agree with the other guy wouldnt give up more than a pick or 2 for him. Also dont see him going to anyone but a contender so the picks would be more towards the back end.Last edited by BEasy20; 06-23-2014, 03:22 PM.Comment

I don't know. I'm having a tough time believing Jabari is really up to 255. When that workout video came out everyone talked about how he looked more slender. So in less then a month he's put on 15 plus pounds? Just find that hard to believe or he carries 255 pounds extremely well.NFL: Tennessee Titans
NBA: Indiana Pacers
MLB: St Louis Cardinals
NCAAB: Duke Blue DevilsComment

if jabari is 255 his weight issues gonna be a bigger story than bennets lolComment

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
Maybe he's gained muscle? Or maybe he's bulking up to play PF. Or maybe Duke lied about his weight like everyone does about their height.

Re: 2014 Draft Discussion
I don't think it's muscle. Ford said he was overweight for the cavs workout and reporting it may have been on purpose because he doesn't want to go to Cleveland. Apparently he may have threw his draft workout by underperforming.
Ford said he was at 11% body fat which idk if good or terrible or what

I think Stauskas was among the "fattest" at 12% at the combine.
I highly doubt he threw his workout. If he did, that really diminishes the intangibles that are supposedly one of his biggest strengths IMO. My guess is he simply had a poor workout.

11% isn't bad considering most athletically built people can start to show their ab definition once they hit the 12-13 range. I'm sure if they measured the body fat percentages of people in the league they would all be close to that range. Once you hit single digits most people start to look pretty cut up. Even the skinnier guys who lack much definition, someone like Durant, I could see him being around 9-10% body fat.. I'm not sure why his body fat % was even worth mentioning honestly. If he was around 9 nobody would have said anything about it, and a 2% difference in body fat isn't going to hinder anything he does athletically. Hell he could probably drop it in just a couple weeks just from shedding water weight.
